Hi! and thanks for stopping by... I am here hoping to find my best friend, my lover, my confidant and my life companion. I understand that sometimes two people that have similar interests just may not click when they meet. That's OK, that is life! We are all adults here. I am not into weeks of texting or messaging and talking on the phone, if we share the same interests lets meet somewhere, face-to-face, and see what happens! The worst that can happen is there is no "spark"...no harm, no foul, and not a lot of wasted time...If you find someone else or decide we are not a good match, tell me! I have feelings, and it hurts when people just suddenly stop texting/calling/whatever...and you don't have to lie to me!I can weep at a chick flick or cuss out a ref that makes a bad call while watching my fave football team...I am one heck of a cook but enjoy having help in the kitchen too. i am honest, straightforward, rather old-fashioned in many ways, and was raised with an appreciation of the finer things in life, and the value of hard work. I worked hard for 25 years and am paying for it now. lol...everything works, i am just a little slower than I was at 20! I am by no means perfect and am not looking for perfection, just a real man who is perfect to me!I am looking for a man that wants to meet his best friend/lover/confidant and life companion. You must be honest, straightforward, and know how to and be willing to communicate! If you work 60 or more hours a week and want to spend your spare time with your kids, why are you here? just sayin... Being able to dress up for a night at the symphony is a plus...as is knowing how to cook both on charcoal and gas grills! I live with my Dad, and am quite content to continue to do so. I will answer every message that is sent to me, even if it is just to say "sorry, not interested"!. I would NEVER be rude to someone and *** message! Please don't add me to your favorites without sendiing me a message, it confuses me! lol (is he interested? is he not?...) same with the MEET ME feature, just drop me a line for goodness sake! I'm a nice person! If I drop you a line like so many of you say you want if a woman is interested, can you not at least acknowledge that? Even if it is just "no thanks"? I am NOT looking for fwbs or one-nighters. Sorry, I am just not into big-bodied men! I like all music, from Mozart to Metallica, and everything in between except rap and hip-hop. i still love life and get enthused about the good things!Going to the symphony, the theater, out to see a good blues band, a ball game, or the tractor pulls at the fair are some things I enjoy.Walking in the park or on the beach, sitting on the back porch watching the sun rise (or set) are also good times. Road trips are fun too, both planned and spontaneous! I have a great sense of humor and can laugh at myself when I have a blonde moment. I am well-read and never intend to stop learning. I have patience for just about everything except willful stupidity and deception! I am not into the bar or club scene, I just don't drink much, but will go see a good band. I love animals, and have owned many different kinds over the years. I have a valid passport, and would love to see more of the world someday. I enjoy the slower pace of country life and the culture available in cities.I prefer small gatherings to large parties, don't need to have money spent on me to have a good time, appreciate the gift of a compliment when warranted more than a thousand birthday gifts on that one day of the year. I am very affectionate, and passionate and want someone that is the same. I will be your cheerleader 110%, I am not into drama, and will NOT fight with anyone!     Hello, Thanks for stopping by.....I am not looking for an *** I believe a relationship has to be built on a firm foundation. If you can't start out as friends, then you have nothing. So, friendship if it develops into more fine, if not it wasn't meant to be I have a friend.I have been a single mom most of my life. My son is grown. He is 23, and I am very proud of him. I live in a rural area. Where the pace is slow. Here it's easy to stop, and look at God creation. Simple things like listening to birds sing. Looking up in the night sky, and seeing the stars. Driving to the pond, an wetting hook hoping catch a fish. I do like to fish. I like to take a Sunday drive to no where. I love to laugh, and love to pick on ones I care about. So, if you can't laugh, and take a joke. Then we probably don't have to much in common. My favorite time of year is the FALL. The changing of the leaves. I guess this is a big part of who I am. I work two jobs, that I like. I am a very independent woman. My family and friends are very important to me. I have a big heart, and I am a very caring person. I am a christian, but don't go to church every Sunday. I like all types of music, except rap... (if i can't understand it, then it's not for me) LOL... I don't play games, don't have time for it. I am a very easy person to talk too. At this point in my life... I would like to have someone that I could develop a true friendship with, and possible over time grow into a relationship. If not, I could always use more friends. I don't like fussing, and caring on.... I just am not going to live my life that way. Gentleman, all I ask is....
