I'm not good at talking about myself...I'm just ME. I'm real, I'm honest, and I'm loyal. I'm pretty casual and not high maintenance, but I still like to be a girl. I'm not perfect but I try to be the best me I can. It's been an interesting journey so far and I'm ready to see where else it takes me. I always wanted to be a hippie but I got disco ***, and still like the music from that era! My favorite color is purple and I like almost anything nature-y! I also love long hair, on women, men and even animals! Right now mine is down to the middle of my butt but I'll be donating it soon to Locks of Love. I like tattoo's but only have one.I have a one-eyed, deaf dog, a hurricane Katrina rescued psycho cat, an eclectus parrot who plucks, and a Honduran Wood turtle that used to be my mom's. I take care of everybody and everything, and have decided that maybe it's time to take care of some stuff for me, like finding someone I can have fun with *** take care of! I love to laugh and am usually smiling, though it's been a rough few years for me, and it took me a little while to get my feet back under me after my world blew up. I'm pretty stable-was married only once, for 18 years (we're still friends), I've been single for 7, and have been in my home since ***. St. My dream is a peaceful little cabin in the woods somewhere pretty, with 4 real seasons (not just 4 versions of the same season!), and someone special to share it with. I miss the colors of fall, and snuggling while it's snowing outside.One step at a time, friends first of course, and let's see where it leads.     Hi, thanks for stopping by to read my profile. The best way to describe myself would be a warm, friendly person who works hard, I enjoy all kinds of music, love the beach and like to have fun.     Hi! Well, here is a taste of me. Check me out.....I love to spend time with my two wonderful granddaughters and my family. I like to read, take walks, hike, swim, ride motorcycles (as a passenger), spend time with my dog, sit on the couch with my feet up, watching my favorite programs and movies. I am an educated woman, not with the over-the-top GPA, but educated enough to communicate well and make my point. I try to give of myself to help others and I love my sense of humor. Life is too short to not giggle and laugh whenever possible. I have been through a few hardships in the past few years and with the help of my family and friends, I have tapped into my inner strength to pull myself through and land on my feet, stronger that I was before. I truly believe that "what doesn't kill you makes you stronger". A positive attitude makes all the difference! OK....I'm not at all electronically illiterate, but when it came to the IPOD, I was living under a rock. I had one, but I never set it up and used it. Now, because of a friend, I am the proud owner of a fully functioning, music loaded, IPOD! I love that thing! I don't care for all types of music, but I am proud of the fact that my taste is open to many styles and artists. I like 70's, 80's, 90's and up. Some classical, jazz, Big Band, some country; old and new, rock, very little rap. I'm always open to listening to something new. Although you will know when I am listening to my favorites ( I start to move, and I can't stop!)I am a warm, good hearted, woman who has a lot to give to the right person.
