I prefer the less traveled trails. I like the solitude. I try to work out regularly and eat healthy...(but don't always!) I love to read (nonfiction), "play" in my yard, projects around the house, explore big cities and small towns. I like antique stores. I like to lay around my back yard or the lake. (Can't swim, but maybe the right guy could teach me!) I love to wander around Home Depot. Love day trips! Definitely open to trying new things. Sorry...I don't like to cook…yet! I have an adult special needs son, but still have plenty of free time. I am a down to earth, blue jeans kind of girl...but I do have that little black dress! For better or worse, because life is great, but bad things do happen. Till death do us part, because online dating sucks! LOL I want gentle honesty, vulnerability, quiet self confidence...strong arms to fall into...and eyes that show me your soul. It wouldn't hurt if you could fix things, too!! lol (No...I'm not looking for a perfect man...just one that makes me happy...which doesn't really take much!) It doesn't matter what you do, or where you've been...just who you are. Oh...and I want to melt when you kiss me!! I'm not expecting to jump into a relationship as soon as we meet...but that is my goal...my last relationship. So...PLEASE!!!...if that's not what you're looking for or if you're a online dating junkie...keep looking!!! If you can't miss a Hogs game, are an avid hunter, travel all the time...(I do have a job), or would rather spend most of your time with your buddies, I'm probably not the girl for you. Otherwise...I'm open! (I know...there went 75% of you! LOL but that's ok, cause I'm only looking for one of you!) That also goes if you're into drugs or more than occasional drinking. I'm not judging...just don't care to be around it. First few dates...quiet places where we can talk and get to know each other. Outdoors is nice, if weather permits.

Hi! Well, here is a taste of me. Check me out.....I love to spend time with my two wonderful granddaughters and my family. I like to read, take walks, hike, swim, ride motorcycles (as a passenger), spend time with my dog, sit on the couch with my feet up, watching my favorite programs and movies. I like to go out on a Friday or Saturday night to a favorite place and enjoy a drink with my friends. I enjoy a relaxing bath or a dip in a hot tub. I enjoy taking a vacation every year. Hopping on a plane to visit family and take in the sights of a new destination. My goal is to simply be who I am, not who someone wants me to be. I also want to continue to work on my bucket list. I am where I want to be in my career and I am aspiring to be a better karaoke singer, learn spanish, and to keep being the grandma that the girls want to spend time with.Talk about myself....well, I have been told that I am a caring, loving, considerate, sweet, sharing, wonderful woman (beep...beep my own horn). I am an educated woman, not with the over-the-top GPA, but educated enough to communicate well and make my point. I try to give of myself to help others and I love my sense of humor. Life is too short to not giggle and laugh whenever possible. I have been through a few hardships in the past few years and with the help of my family and friends, I have tapped into my inner strength to pull myself through and land on my feet, stronger that I was before. I truly believe that "what doesn't kill you makes you stronger". A positive attitude makes all the difference! OK....I'm not at all electronically illiterate, but when it came to the IPOD, I was living under a rock. I had one, but I never set it up and used it. Now, because of a friend, I am the proud owner of a fully functioning, music loaded, IPOD! I love that thing! I don't care for all types of music, but I am proud of the fact that my taste is open to many styles and artists. I like 70's, 80's, 90's and up. Some classical, jazz, Big Band, some country; old and new, rock, very little rap. I'm always open to listening to something new. Although you will know when I am listening to my favorites ( I start to move, and I can't stop!)I am a warm, good hearted, woman who has a lot to give to the right person. If you think that you might be that person, contact me. I will be watching for you!! Wow, no one has ever asked me what I would like to do on a first date........A picnic. Casual, relaxed. Romantic. Let's see.....Music, a soft, thick blanket to sit on, chilled, organic semi-sweet wine to sip on. Hot finger foods, fresh fruits and, of course, a yummy chocolate dish for dessert. I hope that we can manage to leave the ants at home!!!
