So...let me say that friends say I having a giving heart, am loyal, trustworthy, caring, compassionate, and encouraging. I enjoy helping others whether it is at home, afar, or even in prison. I participate in a program called Kairos which is a prison ministry, which gives me an overwhelming sense of joy. It has also taught me much about humility. God has revealed to me that we can all be in prison if we allow ourselves to be whether it is emotionally, dependency, or anything else that prevents us in some way from enjoying our lives fully. Some of my likes: Nascar, football, dancing, shooting pool, camping especially in the mountains, I like fishing ( not afraid to bait my own hook or clean my catch!), and absolutely love motorcycles although I don't have one (yet). I enjoy going to new places, taking long drives, and trying new foods. I love to cook, but rarely do it unless I'm having company and then you have to stay out of the kitchen! Don't get in my way unless you are going to help me, then I may think about letting you hover about. ;-) I would like to meet a man who is comfortable in his own skin, has a good sense of humor because I love to laugh, and who isn't afraid to talk about his feelings. Honesty is a must and no head games! He also must be walking with the Lord. The word tells us that it is essential to be evenly yoked. I don't expect perfection because we are all human, but integrity, good communication (not only able to communicate but listen), loyalty, and open mindedness would certainly be characteristics I would like to find in that special man. I know that God knows the desires of my heart because His word tells me so. I also believe that God has a man out there for me and in His time, He will introduce me to him. I'm not good at talking about myself...I'm just ME. I'm real, I'm honest, and I'm loyal. I'm pretty casual and not high maintenance, but I still like to be a girl. I'm not perfect but I try to be the best me I can. It's been an interesting journey so far and I'm ready to see where else it takes me. I always wanted to be a hippie but I got disco ***, and still like the music from that era! My favorite color is purple and I like almost anything nature-y! I also love long hair, on women, men and even animals! Right now mine is down to the middle of my butt but I'll be donating it soon to Locks of Love. I like tattoo's but only have one.I have a one-eyed, deaf dog, a hurricane Katrina rescued psycho cat, an eclectus parrot who plucks, and a Honduran Wood turtle that used to be my mom's. I take care of everybody and everything, and have decided that maybe it's time to take care of some stuff for me, like finding someone I can have fun with *** take care of! I love to laugh and am usually smiling, though it's been a rough few years for me, and it took me a little while to get my feet back under me after my world blew up. I'm pretty stable-was married only once, for 18 years (we're still friends), I've been single for 7, and have been in my home since ***. St. My dream is a peaceful little cabin in the woods somewhere pretty, with 4 real seasons (not just 4 versions of the same season!), and someone special to share it with. I miss the colors of fall, and snuggling while it's snowing outside.One step at a time, friends first of course, and let's see where it leads. Please don't be terminally ill, and don't be a liar (I hate liars)...just be YOU. Hmmm...let's see... More dreams... Or sunset and dinner at Sharkey's? What do you think?
