I am a single mom of four amazing kids ages 25,22,18 & 16. The younger two still live at home with me. I love my job as a pre-school teacher and also enjoy doing art projects in my spare time. Hey.. hoping to find a 'normal' down to earth type guy, one that is financially and emotionally stable, healthy, up for just about anything, anytime, anywhere....spontaneous yes!...my life is never planned - well vacations yes but...find spur of the moment stuff sometimes works way better...love doing outdoor activities -golf (which needs a little work!) skiing, hikes, tennis, bike riding, long walks, horseback riding, sailing, drinks at patio restaurants, people watching, window shopping, well of course real shopping too...whatever ..usually game for just about anything... Can be in jeans and sweatshirt hanging out or ready for a night on the town in that little black dress.... have done a fair amount of travelling but I want to do more (we always want more! lol) but its definitely more fun with a partner, favorite is tropical vacations, actually any vacation is good, - love to be around people, mingling - social gatherings, or just a barbeque with friends is always a great night. Relaxing at home with a nice dinner - good bottle of wine around the fire or hot tub.....well no I don't have one, but I do like them...-ins for the blow dryer and microwave we're good, wineries, weekend getaways, up to Whistler, the Island, the States...I'm in. I am looking for a guy that is easy going, easy on the eyes, down to earth, passionate, loves to hug (lots..) ok totally affectionate, great sense of humour, nice butt!! great kisser, fun to be around and loves to laugh. Now is that too much to ask??? OMG...never thought this would be soooooo difficult.... One who has no trouble communicating, not into drama and is here for all the right reasons... looking for that special guy!!... - someone who likes to make dinner together, (maybe even help with the dishes!) do the simplest things, and have some fun with it and again must love to laugh! ....there is so much more but you have to have something to talk about!!..... Hi! Well, here is a taste of me. Check me out.....I love to spend time with my two wonderful granddaughters and my family. I like to read, take walks, hike, swim, ride motorcycles (as a passenger), spend time with my dog, sit on the couch with my feet up, watching my favorite programs and movies. I like to go out on a Friday or Saturday night to a favorite place and enjoy a drink with my friends. I enjoy a relaxing bath or a dip in a hot tub. I enjoy taking a vacation every year. Hopping on a plane to visit family and take in the sights of a new destination. My goal is to simply be who I am, not who someone wants me to be. I also want to continue to work on my bucket list. I am where I want to be in my career and I am aspiring to be a better karaoke singer, learn spanish, and to keep being the grandma that the girls want to spend time with.Talk about myself....well, I have been told that I am a caring, loving, considerate, sweet, sharing, wonderful woman (beep...beep my own horn). I am an educated woman, not with the over-the-top GPA, but educated enough to communicate well and make my point. I try to give of myself to help others and I love my sense of humor. Life is too short to not giggle and laugh whenever possible. I have been through a few hardships in the past few years and with the help of my family and friends, I have tapped into my inner strength to pull myself through and land on my feet, stronger that I was before. I truly believe that "what doesn't kill you makes you stronger". A positive attitude makes all the difference! OK....I'm not at all electronically illiterate, but when it came to the IPOD, I was living under a rock. I had one, but I never set it up and used it. Now, because of a friend, I am the proud owner of a fully functioning, music loaded, IPOD! I love that thing! I don't care for all types of music, but I am proud of the fact that my taste is open to many styles and artists. I like 70's, 80's, 90's and up. Some classical, jazz, Big Band, some country; old and new, rock, very little rap. I'm always open to listening to something new. Although you will know when I am listening to my favorites ( I start to move, and I can't stop!)I am a warm, good hearted, woman who has a lot to give to the right person. If you think that you might be that person, contact me. I will be watching for you!! Wow, no one has ever asked me what I would like to do on a first date........A picnic. Casual, relaxed. Romantic. Let's see.....Music, a soft, thick blanket to sit on, chilled, organic semi-sweet wine to sip on. Hot finger foods, fresh fruits and, of course, a yummy chocolate dish for dessert. I hope that we can manage to leave the ants at home!!!
