About Me

I’m looking for a life partner…not a travel partner.For me, it’s not about the traveling, the wining and dining, the cruises…(although those things are nice)...it’s about knowing the person you wake up next to will be there for the rest of your life. Whether you’’t going to matter much in the end. It’s about sharing your life... the good, the bad, the ugly…from seeing his face the first thing when I awaken, a tender moment…or two…before hurrying off to work. It’s about the simple pleasures…the kiss on the back of my neck…having breakfast on the patio. It’s about having someone having your back…Always. It’s trying to understand each other's point of view, even if we don’t agree. Supporting each other...being there for each other.A little about me...I like to hike and be outside. I prefer the less traveled trails. I like the solitude. I try to work out regularly and eat healthy...(but don't always!) I love to read (nonfiction), "play" in my yard, projects around the house, explore big cities and small towns. I like antique stores. I like to lay around my back yard or the lake. (Can't swim, but maybe the right guy could teach me!) I love to wander around Home Depot. Love day trips! Definitely open to trying new things. Sorry...I don't like to cook…yet! I have an adult special needs son, but still have plenty of free time. I am a down to earth, blue jeans kind of girl...but I do have that little black dress! I am a one on one type person, not a party girl. I am resourceful, self reliant and responsible.(I'm not looking for a man to support me, just care about me) I am also very sensitive, fun loving and passionate. I definitely have my faults, but I'll let you discover those! I would much rather find a little out of the way place...for anything. I don't care if I ever make it to Vegas, but I'd love to see the West Coast again. I have a push mower (the kind without a motor), a rain barrel and a compost bin. I don't want to fit into the empty pockets of your life that you need to fill. If I had one rule to live by, it would be...Do unto others... I hope to find a man who is easygoing, openminded and openhearted. One that is young at heart, but emotionally mature. Someone that wants to spend lots of time together, be my best friend. For better or worse, because life is great, but bad things do happen. Till death do us part, because online dating sucks! LOL I want gentle honesty, vulnerability, quiet self confidence...strong arms to fall into...and eyes that show me your soul. It wouldn't hurt if you could fix things, too!! lol (No...I'm not looking for a perfect man...just one that makes me happy...which doesn't really take much!) It doesn't matter what you do, or where you've been...just who you are. Oh...and I want to melt when you kiss me!! I'm not expecting to jump into a relationship as soon as we meet...but that is my goal...my last relationship. So...PLEASE!!!...if that's not what you're looking for or if you're a online dating junkie...keep looking!!! If you can't miss a Hogs game, are an avid hunter, travel all the time...(I do have a job), or would rather spend most of your time with your buddies, I'm probably not the girl for you. Otherwise...I'm open! (I know...there went 75% of you! LOL but that's ok, cause I'm only looking for one of you!) That also goes if you're into drugs or more than occasional drinking. I'm not judging...just don't care to be around it. First few dates...quiet places where we can talk and get to know each other. Outdoors is nice, if weather permits.

    Hi! and thanks for stopping by... I am here hoping to find my best friend, my lover, my confidant and my life companion. I understand that sometimes two people that have similar interests just may not click when they meet. That's OK, that is life! We are all adults here. I have patience for just about everything except willful stupidity and deception! I am not into the bar or club scene, I just don't drink much, but will go see a good band. I love animals, and have owned many different kinds over the years. I have a valid passport, and would love to see more of the world someday. I enjoy the slower pace of country life and the culture available in cities.I prefer small gatherings to large parties, don't need to have money spent on me to have a good time, appreciate the gift of a compliment when warranted more than a thousand birthday gifts on that one day of the year.
