About Me

It is so hard to write about myself! I think my friends would say I am an attractive, affectionate, loving, intelligent, independent, thoughtful woman who is generous to a fault. I love laughing and making others laugh too. I am happy with my life. I am a positive person who always looks for the good in a person or situation. I love to cook and bake, and I am good at it according to family and friends. My faith is very important to me and it would be extra great if I could find someone with whom to share that aspect of my life as well. I am looking for a man who is honest, thoughtful, kind, generous, and financially secure .... to share our thoughts and dreams together. I am very active and like to be outside doing anything....yes even in the winter! I have a horse whom I love to ride, a pair of skis that I can usually stay upright on, and I have recently recommitted to running, with a goal to do a 5K soon (Not a very lofty goal I know! But you have to start somewhere, right?). I love parks, swimming pools, backyard decks or patios (with grills on them!), beaches, mountains, old people who still hold hands, and animals, because they know how to love. Staying at home and cuddling on the couch, kissing, holding hands, looking deeply into each others eyes, casting a knowing glance across the room (as if there is some secret joke) are also tops on my list of favorites.If you are interested in anything I have said, please drop me a note :-) Thank you for reading and God bless!     First I would like to say is that the last 8 years consisted of me getting my 2 son's through a divorce, the pain and the confusion, so I missed out on a lot of going out and having fun ( kids activities), my kids are older and we're good, they want me to go out and have fun. I'm very thankful to some men in my life who showed me a brand new world of kindness & gratitude.I tend to date within 30 min travel time in my area. I love the smell of coffee, but don't drink it. I'll meet you for "coffee" & order up something else. I once enjoyed a 1st meet at a greenhouse, looking for tomato plants w/ a guy. I was quite surprised how we would see a plant, & tell each other memories it provoked. So maybe....Everyone's so skittish.Just do it.Really.Truly.I'm easy going. Not to be confused with easy ;-) I'm generally open to any type of idea for a date. Except horror movies. Nope. Not gonna happen :-)Life is so tender, so fragile.
