Living in the country it is easy to escape all the negative issues the big cities have to offer. I enjoy the lakes and beaches the area has to offer. Plus out here we have the drag strip on the side of the river.Awesome! Friday nites are street legals-this is the time for me to unwind and enjoy. walking is a good way to get out and see ur neighborhood and all the areas around u. Lake trails.....are great! walking along side of the river is awesome as u get to see all the hopefuls that have been out there fishing for hours. Its great fun! I truly luv to laugh and enjoy listening to a great conversation. I believe that in a relationship it is important to hear and understand ur partner. 2 souls working at a relationship is far better than 1. I would love to travel again..........and my favorite is Disneyland. Shrek is awesome! I guess i am still refusing to grow up!LOL! Cooking is fun....as long as it is a shared effort. I love to experiment with new dishes..and really need to find someone that is not afraid to try new things.My little puppy is fed up with being a guinea pig(smile)So enjoy doing bbq. sitting outside with a nice cold drink....springsummerfall. Being out in the country....Gotta love country music? ya...but i do enjoy all kinds....the rap stuff takes a bit of getting used to. But as long as its got some kind of beat...danceable!.Johnny Reid is awesome.....really would love to see his concert...Family and friends are special to me....as should be to u also. I have 4 adorable grandchildren...This nani loves and spoils them to pieces! (payback time) LOL Hmmmm now what makes me unique? I guess u will need to find that one out urself.....No packrats....or couch-taters pls.......And drama queens? stay home! Life is too short to carry that heavy baggage around. I can spend hours browsing through antique stores wondering about the history behind things. I also like flea markets and yard sales. I try to attend several country fairs, bazaars, carnivals and town celebrations, esp when there is homemade food! I enjoy cooking and seek a man who also knows his way around the kitchen--so much fun to cook together then sit down and savor our accomplishment!I like to take an occasional trip to the casino although gambling is not a problem--I only take with me what I can afford to donate!!! I also enjoy traveling. The carribean is also a favorite destination--love those tranquil blue waters and the feel of warm sand between my toes! I enjoy cruises also and I look forward to taking an Alaskan cruise someday.I love surprises, last minute plans, and spontaneity! I am old fashioned to a certain degree and still appreciate having doors opened for me, chairs pulled out, and help with my coat. I work in a heathcare setting and have to work every other weekend and some off shifts so someone who has time available through the week would be a bonus. My children are grown and on their own so I prefer someone in a similar situation. Grandkids are great!! It's time to go out and enjoy life! I have an upbeat, positive outlook and almost always have a smile on my face. I love a good sense of humor and enjoy joking around but yet know when I need to be serious. If you are a grump or feel the world has done you wrong or find life to be a chore or boring, or you have no reason to smile, please pass me by!I am not a big fan of watching much tv but do enjoy a good movie. I like playing cards and board games and enjoy an evening of bingo with friends. I don't like going to bars or nightclubs but do like a comedy club. I enjoy a glass of wine occasionally but not much of a drinker and am looking for the same.So....what's next.....send me a message!
