My first date should be a relaxed atmosphere. Chatting over a cup of coffee or some other drink in a semi-quiet place would be ideal. If this goes well then it could always advance into a lunch or dinner. Starting out simple gives us both a chance to get to know the other person better and can be as long or short as either party wants it to be.
