Here's a random list of things about me in no particular order.....I'm very upbeat and positive. I have a broad and mischievous sense of humour and laughter is high on my list of must haves. There are those who've been kicking around for 45 years and some relatively new ones but no less appreciated. We enjoy getting together for meals, casual coffee, backyard BBQs concerts or raucous euchre matches! I love animals of all sorts and am not afraid to carry spiders outside or remove a snake from the yard. I have an open mind and strive to never judge. I do not tolerate drama or gossip. I never refer to the past as "baggage". I find that expression disrespectful of who we are and what we've experienced, both the good and the bad. I'm a first generation Canadian of European background and have travelled many places in both North America and Europe. I love movies of any genres but not those that are mostly cg. My music tastes are varied. Frank Sinatra. Roxy Music. The Verve. Gino Vanelli. The list is endless. I love going to concerts as well. Big or small. I believe two people can and should have activities/ friends outside their relationship. It's healthy!I believe monogamy can be as arousing as the most passionate kiss and that slipping secret, loving notes to one another is not a past-time reserved for teenagers (although I think they refer to it as texting now). I enjoy photography and attempted to learn water colour painting , the results of which are pulled out and admired when a good laugh is needed:)I'm very interested in refinishing furniture but alas, have no real space to attempt my many intended projects. I'm expanding my love of writing to other avenues as well but that's in it's early stage. I can't really dance or golf. I'm not very good at any particular physical, sporting activity but I'm willing to learn new things! I'm trying to learn to be more spontaneous, a quality that's been lacking for most of my life. Rivers. Lakes. Seas. Oceans. I'm drawn to water whether its swimming or boating and yes gentlemen, it's been a while but I've baited my own hook, reeled in my catch and removed it without assistance. I could fillet my fish by the time I was 12. I'm in no hurry to cohabitate or marry. I'm comfortable living on my own at this time. I want to spend time with a loving partner and get to know them for as long as it takes. If you have a family, that's fine. So do I. I would hope they would blend nicely together. I'm not looking to fulfill an endless bucket list of physical feats. Im looking to find a partner who makes me happy to be with. If you're interested, please send me a message.     Hi! I am updating this for the last time I think. I guess I am not a "twinky" (you know the twenty somethings, or a skinny minny) so I don't attract people like I used to... your lose I guess! I don't drive which seems to be a problem for some (due to vertigo) which just means I have a dizziness problem, not that I am a "dizzy dame"... I have been looking for a job for over a year now, please do not ask if I am looking for someone to support me, I AM NOT! Also, do not try to "help" to find me a job, or ask me what I am looking for. At this point, I am willing to fit the job and not the other way around! I am also only looking for a Part-Time job, not full-time due to the Vertigo issue. So.... please, don't try to help, I will find a job in my own time and in my own way. Thanks anyway as many of you are very condescending the way you ask and "try" to help! I am kind of tired of it! So please, just leave it be if you contact me.     "-"***......things that make you go hmmmmmmI'm a strong woman who fits in well with any social gathering. I feel just as comfortable in an evening gown sipping champagne as I do in jeans and a tshirt sitting around a campfire having a beer (but red wine is really my beverage of choice) I want a man with similar traits.....looks good in jeans but cleans up nicely and has an eye for male fashion. I'm somewhat of a movie junkie and have diverse taste in music. As I mentioned prior, I enjoy red wine, with a nice Brie cheese. I enjoy all kinds of travel...everything from a sunny resort to a cabin in the woods. There's nothing like swimming in the ocean but also love the serenity of Georgian Bay. I love thunderstorms and the sound of the rain on a Sunday morning when I don't have to get up for work...even better waking up with that special someone beside me.I enjoy a game or 2 of pool...not the greatest at it but my game seems to improve after a couple of glasses of wine...go figure!Family is very important to me, as I hope it is for you. I have an older sister and younger brother who have wonderful families of their own and Christmas and Thanksgiving are usually a big deal for all of us. I have a 17 year old son going to college next year...,I'm very proud but not looking forward to seeing him leave home. I love to laugh...and I mean really laugh...the kind of laughter that doesn't allow you to speak and brings tears to your eyes, And just an FYI....I snort when I laugh...can't help it....it just happens.As much as I enjoy romantic evenings at home, I also enjoy the occasional night on the town....perhaps a live show, or concert....or dinner then a game of pool (I'm not great but my game tends to improve after a few glasses of wine)And guys.....no way of knowing), or you wearing sunglasses in every single shot, maybe out of focus,, ...oh...or the one of just your torso.....no head shot....c'mon!...really!?...in this day and age of phones with cameras, digital cameras...there's really no excuse for not having a decent photo of yourself....if you don't have it....i'\m not interested! Something casual....perhaps drinks but dinner not necessary...makes for too much pressure
