Someone who knows and likes who they are...Confident and strong enough to enjoy being with a confident, independent woman. I would like someone who I can spend time with, travel with, dine with, go to the movies or spend an afternoon at the lake: in general to enjoy the joys and sorrows of life with...Someone who is not afraid to show emotion. I want someone who I can cook dinner for or who would be willing to cook dinner for me. I am looking for someone who will be honest, faithful, and is willing to risk the joy and hurt that inevitably comes with a committed relationship. Someone who is interested in knowing the good and bad of me and loves me anyway and is willing to be known in the same way. I have the ability to laugh at myself (and often do) and I want to share that laughter with someone.I love pretty much all music including alternative, country, jazz and classic rock but especially the blues. There is always a song playing in my head and my feet just move with the music.I am reliable and responsible and practical, but I can also be spontaneous. I am no angel, but I think I am a pretty normal, stable woman who dearly loves her family and friends - they are my joy.I am not a quitter - I keep trying until I get it right. Lessons learned make me a better person. I work hard, I have a strong sense of loyalty, a good sense of humour, which is often more apparent after a couple glasses of wine, and a strong faith in God. I like who I am and I think I have a lot to offer to the right person. I have a lot of energy and like to stay active. I have been renovating an older home and I am nearing the end of the project.     Hi ! Thanks for stopping by. I love to travel.....taking in the scenery, the different cultures, enjoying the sun and ocean, meeting people, experiencing different food and taking pictures to capture all that is going on while away. I'm also a bit of a jock, have played several sports my entire life, and find myself coaching several sports now. Love to catch a pro game in any sport....and yes, I would even love to go to a Leafs game ! I keep busy cycling and golfing now, but would take part in any sporting or recreational activity. I am blessed with an amazing family and group of friends and coworkers. I enjoy spending time with people, and find laughter and smiling really makes you feel good. I love animals....and love to be outdoors. There is something about the water that soothes me, so tend to be around it often. Where you live or what you do is not important to me, just the connection and admiration you feel for someone when you first meet is what I'm looking forward to again. Don't be shy, you had me at hello :0) If we were to meet, it wouldnt really matter what we did, as long as we enjoyed each others company. I prefer to be outdoors or along the water because that is where I feel the most comfortable. Its nice to have a great conversation, and leave each other thinking you really dont want to leave at all :0)

    I am an average woman, one of the averagest ones...And of course the flawlessest. My friends don't describe me at all, they simply adore me.Just my English is the cannot-very-improvest.I have all my brown hair...I mean all hair I have is mine... even the few grey hairs I have are mine (I don't tell where).I have all my brown eyes...Well, I probably have lost some, but I rarely borrow other people's teeth.And I am afraid I am a Rubens' body type. But much better than to be a Willem de Kooning's one, is it not?I always say what I think, but sometimes I say what I don't think because I talk without thinking. In the rest of the time I think without speaking which is a real bonus.And I am very optimistic. Or at least until I get the correct information. But I can never understand why all those positive people keep their glasses half full and never drink the whole thing...Chemistry is important. Anatomy even more!Not only do I look my age, I AM my age. For me looking certain age and being that age are two completely different things. For example looking 35 is not the same as being 35. And those who feel certain age probably stopped living at that age...(the art of expiring at your peak...)The best thing about my age is that at least I have reached it. My English is 40 years younger than me.     I just moved to this new location and joined the YMCA to meet people. When I workout I like to watch the Food channel....lol I like to take a pic everyday. I like to try new restaurant's. I love all music as long as I can dance to it but if I had to pic one I didn't like it would be Rap. I just bought a kayak. I am pretty crafty. I am a very independent woman but it would be nice to find someone to share time together and maybe do some travelling together, do a little golfing, walk a beach or just cuddle on the couch and watch a movie. I also have 2 AMAZING Grandson's who I try to see as often as possible. It is hard to read a profile and see a few pic's to know if we would have chemistry together.....so drop me an *** where it goes from there! It would depend on the weather because you can't go to the beach and have a picnic if it is snowing out or can you???
