Hi guys!.. I'm an independent, openly affectionate, fun lovin' mother of an awesome 24 year old son...with a love for MUSIC, ANIMALS/nature & comedy. I enjoy workin' out a couple times a week. Tryin' to tone up...lose some weight and live a healthier, happier lifestyle. (Already payin' off!) It would be nice to interact with like-minded individuals. (I could very well be the ONLY volunteer parent in history to be put in "time out" in my son's kindergarten class. LOL) Sort of a loner/homebody at times...but I do like to get out and do things. Very easy to please...not materialistic...jus' wanna love and be loved. I enjoy anything sensual…LOVE to kiss, or anything that provokes laughter or deep thought. I also enjoy sharin' new interests and ideas. And might I add...that I have an inner "rocker child" jus' itchin' to get out! \m/O^O\m/My son is the MOST important thing in my life...that goes without sayin'...but right now...I am focusin' on my level of happiness for a change. He's doin' his own thing back in SC...and though I HAVE dated since I left my ex...I've never brought a man into our home. I don’t believe in paradin’ men/women around children…so I’ve put a lot of my own needs on the back burner to be a GOOD, committed single mom. Now that I have raised my son I feel like I can finally "exhale"...so to speak. I'm tryin' to broaden my circle of friends...and maybe let someone special into my life. I'm not in a big hurry...things should develop naturally over time.At the risk of interjecting negativity...I'll not meet anyone without a recent photo (C'mon y'all...we were all hot back in high school! LOL)...one taken within the past couple of years will suffice. Nor will I meet anyone I've not spoken with on the phone. Once weboth reach a certain level of comfort...we can meet on a "no promises/no expectations" basis and see where it leads. (No players or "one night stands"...self respect thing y'know.) If we make a mutual connection...and it goes there...I'd love to explore a romantic, long-term relationship. If it blossoms into something deep and meaningful...wonderful! (But please don't lead me to believe that we share somethin' more...if we don't.) My friends say I am very loyal, caring, concerned and loving. I am truly a great friend. I would rather just date with no stress or pressures of a relationship. If something did occur over time, then I believe that 'one' would be meant to be. I love to laugh. My friends and family laugh when I don't even realize I am being funny. To me, laughter really is good for the soul.I love to walk every day for exercise. I walk each and every morning for an hour and a half...with my 6 month old Poodle, Dusty. It is good for the both of us and we have fun together. I was a member of the YMCA for years and stopped about 4 months ago for knee surgery. I am planning on starting back again soon. I love to exercise. I like to take pilates, aerobics, water aerobics and yoga.I have both parents living. They have been together for 54 years. I have two children. My daughter is 27 and my son is 24. They both live out on their own now. I am very proud of them and love them dearly. At this point in life, I wish I did. My family has been very good to me and I appreciate and am grateful for it all.I like Country Music, mostly New Country. I listen to 94.7 WQDR and I love Tim McGraw. He's my favorite. I love a lot of different music; only country is my favorite. For my first date, I would like to go out somewhere nice for dinner...or meet for lunch and talk and learn more about one another.
