***WARNING NOVEL IN THE MAKING***About me: First, I am Southern so yes, I do have a Southern Drawl and say; 'Yes Ma'am and No Sir' - I think that I have wonderful morals and character as I was raised by a US Marine who led by example. I am educated, and am the President/CEO of an upstarting Air Ambulance Company on the island of St. I have a background in Emergency Medicine and the Mental Health Industry; much of my focus today is on volunteering and I choose to work with our Wounded Warriors, Alcohol & Substance Abuse as well as Abused Women and Children. I am patriotic and love and support our men/women in the military throughout the world. I have traveled the world and have made so many wonderful friends. I have also been divorced for six years from an outstanding US Marine. He and I today remain the greatest of friends. I have 4-children, they are what make up the four quadrants of my heart. They are incredible men and women. I was a single parent for all but 8 years of their lives so I believe that the individuals that they are today is in fact a reflection of me. With this being said...Moving on with one's life is never easy. My friend's describe me as a woman who is giving, loving, passionate, trustworthy, and funny, who trusts but never easily and who has command presence. I am passionate about passionate subjects, refined and emotionally analytical. I love my life, children, people and animals. I respect myself and am proud of the woman that I have become. I am very tactile (I love walking together hand in hand or arm in arm even from the cars parking place to the grocers) but no groping in public, unless you feel that you must. I'm patient, never lose my cool and have the humility to admit when I'm wrong. I live life to the fullest, and strive for excellence both personally and professionally. I detest snobs, love innocence, drenched in the arts and culture. I read mainly non-fiction though will read almost anything. I do not need nor want a man that is willing to settle for second best. I am a very unique woman who is very secure in who I am. I am not a possession nor am I someone to be owned. Loved...Yes, and in return I will accept love completely, caringly and honestly with a man that has humor, kindness and passion. I am a woman who understands the power of words and the harm of secrecy. Therefore, I am a woman who does not speak around corners; it is straight between the eyes. I like to say about myself; "My horns hold up my halo and strength to get through the fight." Who I hope to find: I long for a man who knows who he is, secure in what he is, proud of what he has become. I am looking for someone to travel and build a life with, emotionally and physically, creating a home and a better future. Sharing the simple things and the grand adventures, a companion who pushes me to be a better person and who is there for me to lean on, occasionally. The one special person that will one day when we are 90, sit back on the porch swing and reminisce with me about all the grand adventures, the trials and tribulations and all of the fun we had together.     I love the smallest pleasures in life. Daisies are my favorite flowers, I don't like diamonds, don't wear gobs of makeup, I am who I am. I have a great love of children, people,volunteering,camping,gardening,cooking, grilling outdoors, drawing, painting, music, singing, life. I love sunny days, rainey days, snowy days, even stormy days. Sunrises and sunsets and rainbows are beautiful. The ocean is a magnificant wonder. I enjoy fishing,watching baseball and football, love nascar and funny cars, singing, dancing, smiles and giggles of everyone. I don't drive a fancy car and I don't want one either, saw a truckvan and put that on my "would love to find one and fixitup list. I work hard because that is my work ethic and it's what I have to do to make it, which is fine with me. I don't complain, don't need to, that is not going to improve my life. I have a heart and use it every day. I do what I can to help others; it's part of my nature. Random acts of kindness are one of my favorite things to do, everytime I cross a toll i pay for the car behind me. I am tickled when I see the car behind me pay for the car behind them. It makes it all worth while. I love a good cup of coffee, walking around barefoot, but must keep the toes polished. I love bluejeans but can also clean up well and dress up to the nines. I prefer picnics or cookouts to going out to dinner. Being single is ok, but I would love to love and be loved. You; You have a great heart, you either show it well or it is apparent in your actions, you are kind to me and to others, your not a pushover but strong to a fault, you don't try to impress me or others with your wit because that is apparent, it is part of you, you listen to a variety of music, but save the loud music for your time with your buddies (Ha) you either are a countryman or you appear to have some of their strong qualities...ie, hardworker for you and for others, busy usually on your days off with a project of creativity, fishing, camping, hunting, mudding, who knows, you just enjoy life, so being a part of it is a goodthing *** hanging in front of the tv all day. Money is a necessity, either you have it or you're making it work for you. You understand that your money is yours and mine is mine,(hey, I don't have lots of it, but I don't get upset that I am not rich) I'm not after a man for his money...is my point. You love life and care for people. I am NOT a materialistic person, you, I hope are not either! If you have a bike, that is cool, but I am not a biker babe., If you like to ride, thats great but it is not something I care to do, but I think if you have a love of it, you should enjoy it. Hopefully,this site will bring together two people, that don't expect to impress each other, with being someone they're not, they work together because of what we are, real. Something simple. A cup of coffee, a beer, a picnic. Just meet and get to know who we both are.
