Ugh!! This is the worst part, but here goes! I am compassionate, witty, and passionate......I still believe that chivalry is NOT dead! I am a real "girly-girl", but also love my sneakers and comfy flannel PJ's! You can dress me up and take me out to the classiest places, but don't be surprised when you realize I love to joke around and be goofy and playful, too (NOT in the classy restaurant, of course!! ) I am divorced with an 8 year old son and value family highly.....I am blessed to still have my parents around. Since I do have a young child, I would expect and will appreciate anyone I meet to be understanding when it comes to the challenges single moms sometimes have when dating. I teach special education through private agencies and love what I do.......I pride myself on my ability to be sensitive and establish good relationships with the parents I work with who have special needs children. I love infants and the elderly....they're both so precious in their own ways!! Of course, communication and trust are important, but even at this age, I think chemistry is also a must! A relationship without appreciation and passion just doesn't feel right. I am a good listener, a loyal friend, and love to make people laugh! I have a quick wit and usually laugh when I'm nervous! Making people laugh has always served as my "safety valve" since I am actually quite shy. Truthfully, I am looking for a solid relationship, as well as a man of exceptional values who will nurture my son as well as our relationship. Sure....I love the beach, and dining out, and working out, as well as candlelight and a nice glass of wine! I feel the best when I dance, although I don't really dance anywhere other than my living room anymore!!
