I've reached a time in my life where I realize my world shouldn't entirely revolve around my kids as it does now. They will always be the most important thing in my life, but I need to find myself once again and start seeking other ways to make myself happy. That being said... I absolutely love the beach, just relaxing all day with a cooler beside me and my feet in the water. My problems seem to melt away once I'm there. I also enjoy boating with my friends at the river, going to concerts (mostly country but open to all types), walking my dogs, love the mountains and just hanging out with friends. I'm actually pretty easy to entertain... I enjoy simple things just being with people I care about. I've spent most of the last few years hanging out with teenagers, so I feel that I'm definitely young at heart! I have a good sense of humor and want someone who can joke around and make me laugh. I love animals and would never date someone who mistreats them! I'm active with our local Relay for Life, am a regular blood/platelet donor, involved with our youth group at church, support local animal charities, and just try in general to reach out to others. I'm definitely a "motherly" type. I sometimes feel that I care too much which causes unnecessary worrying... but that's just the way I am.

    Self description is never easy but I'll do my best to give you an overview of who I am in as few words as possible. When I garden I don't wear gloves because I need to play in the soil. I am very tactile. My favorite scents are antique rose and lilac. I prefer pastels over earth tones. If I had to choose between a Kitchenaid and a diamond the mixer would win hands down.
