I do. Maybe we have more in common. I have three adult daughters. Two are married. I have two granddaughters, a bonus grandson and one on the way. Being a grandma or in my case a yaya is the next best thing to being a mom. I own my own home and have become pretty handy. On most days I like all the jobs and responsibilities that go along with home ownership. I currently work for the state and look forward to retirement.....someday. I am relatively independent...mostly out of necessity. I love the holidays, family get togethers and entertaining. I also enjoy being alone and spending time with that special someone cuddling at home with a glass of wine and watching a movie. I like wine tours, garage sales, walking, hiking and camping. If given the choice, I prefer a camper or cabin. What's better than sitting around a camp fire? I like to visit the casino and make a small donation. Never Win. I like dancing, laughing and having fun. I am open to trying just about anything once. That's half the fun, experiencing each others interests. I've done some traveling, and would love to do more in the future. I am not ready to rush into anything, a casual meeting over coffee or drinks would be a great place to start.     I have had the most charmed life! I LOVE being a nurse and interacting with patients daily...well most of them anyway, to be honest! And, I LOVE being a mother to my 3 children;all grown up now and I am able to enjoy them on another level!Comedy and Improv is an area I am "studying"...for real!!! Took a class last fall...it was AWESOME and I met some "interesting" people. Improv ***starts this Spring. In the meantime, I really enjoy comedies, old and newer, movies and tv. There is too much drama in real life, so I don't consider that entertainment. So..my goal is to investigate and experience as much of the area as I can! Theater, Music (did get to see Trans Siberian Orchestra ...not native to Bham...but fun!), oh, and microbreweries :)!! And, everyone enjoys the relatively short drive to the beach and the mountains...what a gift to live here! And I have a special dream of taking dancing lessons...is that weird?I am fortunate to live across the street from a wonderful park and my subdivision backs up to a state park. I walk regularly and will start riding my bike again after I get it tuned up! Just the same, I am trying to "get my house in order", because I would really like to sell and get a condo or loft downtown! I love the idea of going to an intimate bar/restaurant with craft beers and/or good Margaritas...Spicy foods (Mexican or Thai?), then on to a funny or interesting movie or theater (as heavy as Les Miserable is, I would love to see it at the movies). Let's have a drink after and spend some time holding hands followed possibly by some serious face time :)!
