I love to dance, run, rollerblade and ski and don't do any of those things as often as I would like. I still enjoy going for it. I love to read, by the fire in the winter or, in the hammock in the summer. I am a great cook, prefer wine over beer, hot over cold and I take milk in my coffee. There is nothing better than sharing the preparation of a fine meal with a bottle of dry, red and plenty of snuggle time to follow. If you don't cook or handle the kitchen well there is always something to do to get your hands dirty.     I am very outgoing and energetic, I look a lot younger than my age and have a tremendous amount of energy. I love to garden and be outside, but also love to cook and do crafts. I have a dog but he stays outside. I really don't like inside pets. I have a very unique situation. I took in a family baby in order to save her from going to a shelter and have decided to adopt her. So at age 55, I am raising another child. I believe there is someone out there that missed out on having children or wasn't around much when their children were growing up and would like to be part of this experience. If not, I am perfectly capable of raising her on my own. I love to work out and go to the gym. It would be nice to share that with someone. I love God and my family and my life revolves around those loves. I attend church on Sundays and love to celebrate family's birthdays at my house. I like to curl up with a glass of wine after a tough day and read or watch a movie. I love to go out to eat and catch a movie when I can get a sitter. I have lots of love and would embrace anyones family. I love to listen to K-LOVE. I think meeting in a very public place for a drink and see where it goes from there. If there is interest on both sides, then dinner. You have to have thick skin when meeting a perfect stranger. I think you know in the first ten minutes whether there is any chemistry or interest.

    I have had the most charmed life! I LOVE being a nurse and interacting with patients daily...well most of them anyway, to be honest! And, I LOVE being a mother to my 3 children;all grown up now and I am able to enjoy them on another level!Comedy and Improv is an area I am "studying"...for real!!! Took a class last fall...it was AWESOME and I met some "interesting" people. Improv ***starts this Spring. In the meantime, I really enjoy comedies, old and newer, movies and tv. There is too much drama in real life, so I don't consider that entertainment. So..my goal is to investigate and experience as much of the area as I can! Theater, Music (did get to see Trans Siberian Orchestra ...not native to Bham...but fun!), oh, and microbreweries :)!! And, everyone enjoys the relatively short drive to the beach and the mountains...what a gift to live here! And I have a special dream of taking dancing lessons...is that weird?I am fortunate to live across the street from a wonderful park and my subdivision backs up to a state park. I walk regularly and will start riding my bike again after I get it tuned up! Just the same, I am trying to "get my house in order", because I would really like to sell and get a condo or loft downtown! I love the idea of going to an intimate bar/restaurant with craft beers and/or good Margaritas...Spicy foods (Mexican or Thai?), then on to a funny or interesting movie or theater (as heavy as Les Miserable is, I would love to see it at the movies). Let's have a drink after and spend some time holding hands followed possibly by some serious face time :)!

    If there is a major tennis match or ACC basketball on tv, I will be watching it. I like a variety of things including watching/participating in sports, listening to music: R&B/Soul(mostly), Beatles, Eric Clapton. I am a major dog lover and treat them like my children.
