About Me
I'm definitely a "what you see is what you get" type person. I enjoy interacting & get along well with all types of people. I don't pretend to be somebody I'm not though. I'm a Christian woman, and try to live my life as He has taught. I'm honest & appreciate honesty in others. I'm caring, sensitive of others, quite dependable & conscientious; have a good head on my shoulders. I can handle a lot & don't give up easily. I appreciate all that I've been given, and look for the good in most everything. I love to laugh. I live each day to the fullest. I like being active & having fun. I love boating, the sun, beach & water. I like warm weather & hate the cold. I enjoy traveling & visiting new places. I love music, especially 80's rock, country & jazz. I don't care for rap & heavy metal. I like going to concerts a lot. I enjoy watching sports on TV & in person, mostly football & baseball.I'm comfortable at formal affairs, but can also let loose & be a little crazy. I do know where & when certain behavior is appropriate. I like holding hands & cuddling. I love kissing. I like to pay attention to my partner & for them to pay attention to me. I like romance - candlelight, music & special times. Call me old-fashioned, but I still enjoy having a door opened for me, my chair pulled out, help with my coat or carrying things, getting cards & flowers, etc. I enjoy very much making my partner feel special too.I'm a good Mom & am very family-oriented. I have two beautiful children, a 22 year-old boy & an 19 year-old girl. Both are attending college, are very social & fortunately overall good kids. I'm also a proud first-time Grandma of a little girl, my sweet angel, born May ***.I am drama-free. I have good relationships with my kids, family, friends, ex, his family, etc. No real enemies that I know of anyway. I like my job & pay all my bills. I am happy with what I have & what I've been able to do. I'm in good health, as far as I know at least - no addictions & emotionally strong. All-in-all, I'm unbelievably blessed. I am happy with my life. I believe it can be even more wonderful though when it's shared with somebody special. I'm looking for a man who's:- honest, caring & willing to help others- sensitive & affectionate- respectful, mature & dependable; can make a commitment & will follow through with his promisesI'd like a man who:- has some backbone & will stand up for what he believes in- doesn't settle for mediocrity, but has goals & ambition- works hard but also enjoys life & likes to have fun (wants to go out & do things)- is generally happy & optimistic- can carry on a fairly intelligent conversation, is easy to talk with, can open up & be his true self- makes a decent living- is good with kids & is family oriented; he must be dedicated to his own children & fair with mine- can be a partner in a relationship & still have a life of his own- generally knows what he wants in life & in terms of a relationship with a woman- takes care of himself & what he owns; somebody nice looking is a plus!I'd prefer someone who likes the water, who drinks socially, enjoys the holidays & has some other interests similar to mine.I do not want someone who:- has a lot of drama in his life that will affect a new relationship- is so engrossed in his job that he forgets other things in life are important too.I'm not looking for the perfect man, just the one who's perfect for me.“Don’t go for looks; they can deceive…Don’t go for wealth; even that fades away.
