“Forget what hurt you in the past....but never forget what it taught you".I love adventure, and trying new things, and am very active! There are a variety of things that I would consider my "favorite things" But, also enjoy quality time at home as well! I love music, country is my favorite, love all kinds...anything but rap! I am unique, intelligent, challenging, romantic and very passionate. I may be a bit shy at first, but warm up quickly. I have a sense of humor, and love to laugh. I believe that honesty is the best policy. I am a great listener, very affectionate, caring, giving, sensitive, but can be deeply vulnerable at times. I'm searching for that man who appreciates the little things, with good values, and he wants to get the most out of his life, "don't sweat the small stuff attitude", who has a passion for living life and does the things he loves and brings him joy, and a man I can encourage and support... and most importantly, a good sense of humor, and can laugh with me!!! Don't we all enjoy the simple pleasures, a smile, LAUGHTER, a gentle touch, kindness, a sweet kiss, a warm fire, affection, gentle touch of a hand, enjoying quiet time at home together, working and playing side by side, supporting each other in the adventure we call "life". I'll enjoy your activities just as much as mine. Plans are great, but spontaneous is even better! I've posted a few photos, it's human nature to be physically attracted, and it's the only glimpse we have to start this process with . . . so PLEASE GIVE ME THE SAME COURTESY... of a photo. If you've worked through your past relationship and are ready for a new beginning and some adventure.... just drop me a line and say hello, introduce yourself, and put a smile on my face!

We remember the past to learn from it, not to live in it. (my personal quote....I feel like Ghandi :) )I keep fishing, but all I'm catching are frogs.I like swimming, tennis, and bicycling when the weather is warm. I love hunting...for bargains, that is. But don't get me wrong, I can resist a BOGO sale if I don't need one in the first place. I also enjoy concerts and movies. Make me laugh and I'll probably return the favor.People from 4 hours away say it's too far a distance. Is this just an excuse *** saying, "Not interested"? Or are they really that short-sighted? Why are they online if they're only looking in their little pond? There's a whole ocean out there. So many guys on here are so good at stating the obvious: "Looking for a good hearted woman." - really? Do you think a woman will recognize that she has an evil heart & let you know that? "Looking for someone who is real" - hmmmm....I thought guys were here for robots."I don't know how to describe myself." - yeah...I see that.Men & women alike say, "My kids are my life." Are you trying to convince people that you are a good parent? Or are you saying, "You must take your place behind my kids"? Just wondering about that...Should you not be able to contact me here, I'm on meetville ...Marla NWow! Now I can't even respond to a message from Markus because I'm too OLD?!?! My dad was 15 years older than my mother & no one ever accused him of being a perv. Not only that, because of this I can't communicate with friends here, BUT I have had 2 dates with men whom I found out were MARRIED! Markus...ur failing, buddy! Sorry...ranting bc I'm freaking mad! (we'll see if this gets my profile deleted) Something that would allow us to get to know one another. I don't have to be impressed with anything but your personality.

Hello to those reading this. I love animals, nature, and doing relaxing things on weekends such as hiking or canoeing followed by eating at a local spot. Staying in and watching a great movie while snuggling on the sofa also never gets old. I like the city but I'm a country girl at heart. Other things that I like to do are going to places like flea markets, fairs, music festivals. Touring historic homes or sites are fun, or just walking up a street of nice or old homes - trying to decide which one I would pick if given the choice. I am currently volunteering with an animal adoption group and the county tricentennial anniversary group. I would to find someone to share the fun times of life with (and sometimes not so fun), a person who shares at least some of my interests - someone who could be a true best friend. If you choose to contact me, please have a picture - we're all in the same boat! Thanks, and best of luck with your searching. Besides the standard meeting for a drink, which can be really nice or really awkward(!), I think meeting at a place like a mall or flea market can be an option as it gives you lots to talk about as you walk around, get to learn each others tastes, and you don't have to be staring at each other the whole time (assuming it's that awkward date!). However, meeting for a drink always works as well. As we all know - it's the chemistry that really counts...
