I like simple things like walks and holding hands. I'm ok with going out and having fun or just staying home and watching tv together. I like a wide variety of music from country to the stuff my kids listen to. I don't need "things" to make me happy. I have found there are more important things in life. I am looking for someone who will treat me like I'm the most important thing in the world to them. And if you can't have that, then what's the point? And Drama free? Anyone who has a family has drama. And whoever says there is no such thing is living with their head in the clouds. I think somewhere that we can talk would be great.

Still available and searching for a forever friend, partner in crime (NOT) ha ha!... O.K. I don't believe in that myth, but would love to find what some of my friends have found; which is true and enduring love that will stand the test of time! :) I have been single for a long time... mostly because I am fiercely independent, strong willed or whatever. I am cautious, I am responsible, I am in my opinion someone well worth knowing. (Yah, I could go on and on about how posalutely absotively wonderful I am but, I don't make a habit out of bragging! Ha Ha!My pictures are fairly current, at least I DO look like the same person! Hopefully you look like your pic as well (Ok, looks are not THAT important, but honesty IS! :) Hope to hear from you....*********************************************************************************************************************************************************** : ) Because I have a large vein of Alcoholism in my family line that has robbed 2 of my siblings of both their wit and wisdom as well as sobriety in between 'wagon rides', I do NOT have the tolerance to date or even meet someone with issues past or present with addiction. (No I don't care if you are "in recovery" or a regular member of AA, though I wish you well, please do not bother contacting me, for your own good!) As for myself, I seldom have a drink, and I am at a point in my life where I relish peace and peace of mind, and do not wish to get caught up in anyone else's "pity party" or 'new' wagon ride! I am proud of what I have accomplished thus far in my life, and prefer to keep my glass half full, life is too short to let others deplete you or rob you of your joy! I have tried to write this as kindly as possible, so hope no one takes offense.... I think Coffee, soft drinks or ICE CREAM is a great ice breaker when first meeting... that is pretty much as bold as I am in meeting. (Oh, and if you think McDonalds is a good place to meet I am probably NOT the gal for you! Ha Ha!) Maybe a quiet, hole in the wall place for lunch to talk and get to know one another as a first date, provided the first meeting went well. Frisbee? The Zoo? Maybe fishing or a bike ride on the 2nd date, the possibilities are endless.... FREEDOM***!!!***Put this on your***!!!***page if you***!!!!!!!!!!!***know someone in the***!!!***Armed Forces/military !!! or to show your***!!!***support and respect***!!!***to all our troops***!!!***God bless our troops, and Protect them Lord!My intentions for joining (Rejoining) this sight are all good. I would hope to meet the perfect person for me to spend the rest of my life with is out there, somewhere, but seriously I am very realistic and exceedingly cautious. It has been a long time since I have "dated" but am ready to find that special guy! : )

I'm a hopeless romantic and a class clown. My ideaI partner would have a good sense of humor so that he doesn't look at me like I'm crazy when I joke around. One of the best sounds in the world is laughter. Life is too short not to enjoy it, so I do. I am interested in the old European cathedrals, especially the french ones. I do have a bucket list but i also have dreams. The difference is I might complete items on my bucket list but probably not my dreams. But I don't want to live there really....I still want to live in the U.S. but go to my winery once a year for a month or two.Family is very important to me. I love spending time with my family.I'm not much of a drinker. I started drinking, only socially, very recently. I like older music...from the 60's and 70's .... classic country, rock, and love the melancholic sound of blues. I like to borrow my son's old Chevy and cruise down the highway with the windows down, listening to ole Hank Sr. I'm emotionally stable, good-humored, healthy, and honest. Since I've been on this site I've learned about the term "game playing". What the heck?! I don't do that. I'm just looking for someone to enjoy life beside me. I don't usually look at appearances but rather what is on the inside.... unless you look like Sasquatch, which I doubt. Lol. Well I don't know what else to say to give you a sense of who I am. You can always discover more when you meet me. Talking in a relaxed atmosphere over a cup of coffee or a drink.
