We would cherish every moment that we have together because I have learned through loss how short life really is and how we need to cherish every moment that we have with those we choose to love. And yes I believe love is a choice.We would be kind to one another and not sweat the small stuff because I believe that forgiveness is one of the hardest most powerful choices that we can make to change our life and free us from our past. True forgiveness as in letting go...not letting go for the moment then bringing all the offenses back up everytime that you have a disagreement that's not forgiveness that's keeping score. Life is too short to carry around all that baggage filled with every offense that has ever been committed against you let it go. Honesty and trust are very important to me and Trust is probably the most important ingredient in building an intimate relationship between a man and a woman. Actions speak louder than words. If you are a narcissist, negative, carry a long list, hard to please, a perfectionist or have a controlling personality move on by... please... I'm only interested in a true partnership because to me the best things in life aren't things. That being said I have a huge heart, love socializing, I love to boat and I love to travel & meet new people.I love to camp, and have a place year round where I leave my camper.I love to fish and I have my own tackle box. I am very outgoing and make friends easily. I love anything outdoors. Oh I'm a huge animal lover and I have dogs so if your not it's a dealbreaker for me. I am very grateful, positive and independant and I look for someone who I can bless daily. I have a daughter and granddaughter who live about 2 hours away. I don't get to see her much but my granddaughter is the light of my life. I believe that God has a plan for my life and things happen for a reason. I choose to live in the moment because yesterday is gone and tommorrow isnt here so all we really have is right now this very momment. I think the only things you regret in life are the risks that you don't take...so here I am...looking for someone that I can't live without and I won't settle for anything less. Are you the one? I don't believe in that myth, but would love to find what some of my friends have found; which is true and enduring love that will stand the test of time! :) I have been single for a long time... mostly because I am fiercely independent, strong willed or whatever. I am cautious, I am responsible, I am in my opinion someone well worth knowing. (Yah, I could go on and on about how posalutely absotively wonderful I am but, I don't make a habit out of bragging! (No I don't care if you are "in recovery" or a regular member of AA, though I wish you well, please do not bother contacting me, for your own good!) As for myself, I seldom have a drink, and I am at a point in my life where I relish peace and peace of mind, and do not wish to get caught up in anyone else's "pity party" or 'new' wagon ride! I am proud of what I have accomplished thus far in my life, and prefer to keep my glass half full, life is too short to let others deplete you or rob you of your joy! I have tried to write this as kindly as possible, so hope no one takes offense.... I think Coffee, soft drinks or ICE CREAM is a great ice breaker when first meeting... that is pretty much as bold as I am in meeting. (Oh, and if you think McDonalds is a good place to meet I am probably NOT the gal for you! Ha Ha!) Maybe a quiet, hole in the wall place for lunch to talk and get to know one another as a first date, provided the first meeting went well. Frisbee? The Zoo? Maybe fishing or a bike ride on the 2nd date, the possibilities are endless....
