I came to VA during graduate school and fell for the mountains! I come from the beach/farm of DE where it is FLAT. I enjoy being outside between April and October, then wish I could just hibernate through the snowy months. I work a great job that I am completely in love with Monday through Friday. When I'm not working I can be found outdoors in the garden, baking bread, or drinking green tea with a good book. I rarely watch TV, though i love sports (football and hockey) and do enjoy redbox and all the awesome movie options for 1.20! I run in 5ks and 10ks often and enjoy raising money for different charity groups. My pull up bar is probably my favorite workout equipment and being fit is really important to me. I have been vegetarian (no meat) for 2+ years and really enjoy it. I love cooking and almost prefer making a meal from scratch then eating out. I am simple, would rather be in jeans then a dress, and enjoy having fun. I feel that this is a long paragraph of random sentences. In a nutshell, I want to travel, see the world, and find someone along the way that thinks I'm just the beez-neez. A casual encounter so we can talk and get to know each other.

Woman. 24 years old. Zodiac sign: Aries.
Looking for: man. In age: 21-31
It's really hard to describe my personality in one word because I am easily a combination of things. I love to read and love books. I love books so much that I am studying to be a school librarian. I also consider myself somewhat of a geek because I do like Star Trek, Star Wars, Doctor Who, Big Bang Theory. I do also play some video games. I also take Tae Kwon Do lessons.I am a very reliable person as well as very loyal to those who gain my trust. I sometimes can come off as shy in situations that I am uncomfortable in but sometimes I can be a chatter box it really just depends. I tend to open up more easily to people once I have gotten to know them better. I am pretty flexible when it comes to dates. Some of my favorite date options though are taking a walk in the park or doing something athletic, seeing a movie, and having dinner.

Woman. 22 years old. Zodiac sign: Virgo.
Looking for: man. In age: 19-29
I'm in a PhD program at MSU and that takes up most of my time. So honestly even if I am interested it may take a week or two to find a day when I'm not busy. But I would like to get to know someone for a little bit first. Its not going to get you anywhere by asking me to hook up after a few messages, I'm not that kind of girl. About myself: Sometimes I'm too honest. My dogs generally take priority, its going to take a pretty special person to share that affection. I don't want to settle and I'm always striving to get what I feel I deserve. I'm loyal to my friends, almost to a fault. Sometimes people don't pay back the amount of time/energy/care I put into friendships and relationships and I've been burned from that. Rest assured, I will go out of my way to show you are appreciated and cared for. When I'm not in class, the lab, or studying I try to keep my dog exercised or I try to unwind and relax with tv or a movie. I'm very laid back. I rarely wear makeup or dress to impress, I dress for comfort mostly. I'm definitely low maintenance. What I'm looking for: Someone honest, trustworthy, and supportive. Attraction is important to me so I do understand that not a lot of the guys I find attractive reciprocate. That's ok with me, I would rather wait and find someone I can't keep my hands off, than fake it just because you are a nice guy. It definitely has to be the total package though, because attraction isn't the only thing I'm looking for. I would like to have some common interests with you, so we have something to talk about and share. It would be nice if you weren't overly forward - it will be pretty obvious if I'm interested so don't push too hard. Ideally, someone that doesn't drink, or doesn't drink much would be fan-freaking-tastic, but I know that isn't really realistic for people around my age. No smoking or kids either. Tattoos are fine by me :) Something fun would be the best first date, after the initial awkward meeting. Go carts, mini golf, going to a park or lake, bonfire with s'mores(!!!)..stuff like that :)Honestly I'm not that picky, getting to the meeting stage is terrifying enough. I don't need any extra pressure on the situation.
