Woman. 23 years old. Zodiac sign: Virgo.
Looking for: man. In age: 20-30
I'm a 23 year old recent college graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Business administration. I'm a pretty independent person. I'm outgoing and friendly. It's very rare to see me without a smile on my face. I like to live life in the moment. I love horror movies, even the crappy B-listers. Country music is my favorite genre, don't judge. I'm a terrible dancer but that doesn't stop me from shakin' it on the dance floor. I can be somewhat of a dork. I'm honest and I say what I think. I can be sarcastic and witty and I'm a major klutz 85% of the time. Take the time to get to know me and I promise you won't regret it.

Laughing is my favorite thing in the world. I think the key to my smile has to be one of the keys to my heart. I value integrity, humor, and compassion. I see mistakes as lessons and I prefer to live in the present rather than dwell on the past. My age hardly indicates where I am at in life. I have learned a lot and lived a lot in my short 23 years here on earth... enough to know that I have much more to learn and to live. I am looking for someone who looks at life similarly... a road trip of sorts. I am trying to avoid writing a glaringly cliche statement like -- "It's the journey, not the destination" -- but sometimes a cliche cuts right through the alternative poetic bull sh*tthat I've been trying to type for a few minutes already. I love the journey. I look forward to what's next. There are so many ways to take to get to the same spot ... whether that spot be marriage and kids or a career or a vacation you have set your sights on for years or even signing up for a dating site. I appreciate all the roads a person must take and am looking for someone who wants to be part of that next stretch in my life. RIght now I am nannying for a great family and working on getting a couple short pieces published. And I just started writing a book. I spend my free time with my family and friends ... those relationships are very important to me and I hope are equally important to you. Swimming, sailing, reading, writing, painting, beach combing, movies, Italian and Mexican food, getting dressed up, going out, staying in, stove-top popcorn, home-made anything, flannel pj's and camping, music turned up loud, ... these are a few of my favorite things. I graduated last year with my BA in English (emphasis in creative writing), as well as a minor in psychology. Writing is my passion (although writing a mini-biography about myself is not ;) ). I know that grad school is probably next ... In the future I hope to become a therapist and work with adolescents. I have a passion for helping people and know that doing so must be part of the career I choose. I am no saint. LIfe has been a mixture of messy and beautiful and I am content right now with where I'm at in life and with who I am. I don't NEED a relationship. I'm looking for someone to compliment my life... not complete it. That being said.. Yes, I do want to have a relationship. Yes, I hope to someday get married and have children. But at the moment, I am looking for someone with shared interests to spend time with and laugh with. Could that be you? If you appreciate sarcasm, a liberal political point of view, a good listener, and someone who is up for trying new things... I look forward to touching base with you.*Please note: I am not interested in any one-night stands so if that is your goal go ahead and click "next." Thanks ;) I know, I know. It's almost lame. But going out for coffee would be my idea of a good first date. Here's why: Going to a movie doesn't offer a lot of time to get to know each other and going out to dinner and doing something planned could be rough if we meet and don't really click. Going out for coffee is low commitment and can easily lead to a longer date of going out to dinner, to another activity, etc. Second dates and beyond I would like to do something fun. Weather permitting... something active and out doors. For example: kayaking, zip-lining, bringing take- Weather not permitting or for a lazier kind of day... I'm not very picky as to what we choose to do as long as its with good company.

Hey-ya! I love where I am in my life. I only wish I had more opportunity to meet people, as I am ready to make a connection with someone. I'm very happy with my job and the area I live in. (Even though it is in the sticks!;-)I'm looking for someone to do activities with, first and foremost. (I know I said "Want a relationship" up there, but I mean that in the sense that I want a reliable friend and/or connection with someone, not just a "HI" every three months or when we are in the same area) I want to be friends before moving into any serious partnership/ "relationship".My friends would describe me as a nice, chill person, always eager to learn about things and enjoys what people have to offer. With that being said, I've learned many valuable lessons in life and I know what I want and how I want it :-D I'm excellent at reciprocating what is given to me, and I'm very grateful for all the experiences life has afforded me. So I have many excuses to come further up north and back down to civilization ;-) Distance is not an issue for me; however, I warn- I greatly dislike driving in the snow so I do limit my travels during that time. Here is a list of what I'm looking for; enjoy ;-PI'M LOOKING FOR A MAN WHO:* Is silly but can be serious when a situation calls for it* Loves life and has a positive view (for the most part- we all feel sad sometimes)* Is kind and honest* Loves to laugh* Enjoys music (breaking into song isn't frowned down upon around me)* Knows what they want in life and has a game plan to achieve it* Loves children* Loves their family* Believes and practices equality (race, gender, sexual orientation, ability)* Can be happy by themselves (not looking for things/people to fill “the gap” in their life)* Values education/learning (still has their sense of wonder and curiosity :-D!)* Has a spiritual side (I would like someone who is open spiritually and has a liberal mind set so we can have conversations of that nature; preferably in a hammock under the stars :D)* Is good at giving AND receiving (ability to reciprocate) in all areas of a relationship (friendship or intimate)* Takes initiative* Love MY family (they must like you too)* I can be really good friends with before anything startsALWAYS A PLUS:* Loves to be outside (hiking, kayaking, canoeing, etc)* Wouldn't mind living in the sticks (I would move from the sticks if I found the right guy, fyi)* Loves to travel* Recycles* Good with money (budgeting)* Has a healthy libido* Wants to have children some day* Loves the beach* Can dance* Loves theatre and the Arts* Loves to try new foods* Can spell (google it if you aren't sure, no one is perfect)* Owns several pairs of Carhartt pants (caramel color) ;-) Let's decide together!
