I'm a regular guy who loves being with his kids as much as possible. I have them about 70% of the time, so I am missing them 30% of the time. My kids are awesome and great to be with. I'm very protective so that's about all I want to say about them. If I don't have my kids, I like to surf and pretty soon I hope to have my kids up to speed so we can surf together but they aren't there yet. I have to have some creative outlet besides work. Right now it's wood working and music (drummer). Mostly making simple stuff from reclaimed wood, magnets, chalkboard paint etc. I get a lot of favorable feedback on it so I guess it's decent stuff. I made a bed last year and tons of displays but had to leave those behind when I moved. I'm looking for a band right now so I can get out of playing drums in my ***degree practice space. I'm living in a small place so I still feel like I'm unpacking but I know that will end soon. Mostly SB. I have friends in the area but I decided to keep my distance for a while so I can establish my own life. It's too easy to glom onto the ones you already know. Pretty soon you are living their life. Even if I have to be lonely for a while, I'd rather forge my own path. I figured it is worth a try here. I'm realistic about what works tho. C'mon. I don't want to be pen pals with anyone. If you don't want to meet, please spare me the time. I've tried this enough to know to ask early on about meeting. Otherwise you end up investing time and energy in someone and then they disappear when you ask them to coffee. It's a bizarre phenomenon. I just want to meet as if we bumped into each other at a park or the store, like normal. I'm not interested in interviewing future wives and I am not interested in being interviewed. If you make *** people, you will always fail at dating because you are thinking to far ahead. I'm looking to meet someone who wants to have fun and do things like take walks and maybe play tennis, then over time make up your mind. We live in an *** but finding friends or more is almost never really *** takes time and if you are a single dad like me, it takes commitment. PS: I don't drink but I don't care if you do. I don't have a problem with alcohol, I'm just over it and I choose not to drink as a lifestyle choice. I don't frown on it or judge. Oh.....Soccer moms please apply! That's our sport! Keep it casual. Meet in the park. Get an ice cream.

Who am I? That part is easy. First and most importantly, I'm a dad. I'm also a business owner and a motorcycle enthusiast. I'm a spontaneous guy who prefers staying busy. I spend my time between two cities - I like making people laugh and I have an irreverent sense of humor. I love a big cup of coffee in the morning while I read the newspaper. I'm so many things. But when it all comes down to it, I'm just a good guy looking for the right woman. Can't we just have some fun? I think the best way to break the ice is with some fun. Maybe a few beers and bowling? How about a motorcycle ride and a hike? Putters and some miniature golf? I think you get my point. Let's enjoy getting to know each other.
