J I am very open minded and prefer being around people that are the same. I also, when I have time, Crafts, cooking, shooting pool (I suck at this but like it anyway) I like to laugh and make people laugh. I like roaming thrift stores and flea markets. In some ways I can be shy and other ways a bit of a show off. Lol. Like most women I love fresh flowers but hate roses, especially red ones. I have had my fill of hook-ups, they leave me feeling empty and unsatisfied.I won’t say I am looking for a “relationship” but I am not avoiding one either. Everyone wants to be loved and I am no different. Even though I am very open minded and believe if I were to be in a relationship it would have to be a very open, I am still basically an old fashion girl…..I still want romance and not just sex. JIf I am looking for anyone it would be someone who: Still believes in opening a woman’s car door and pulling out her chair; Still believes that its up to a man to call and ask for a date; Still thinks that slow dancing and holding hands is a big turn on; Someone who thinks the first kiss is still a big deal and should be soft, slow, wet and last for days… Someone who still believes romance is still in style and belongs in even the most casual of relationships. I miss some of those little things from being close to someone. Like goofy text throughout the day that make me smile. Standing at the sink washing dishes when he comes up behind me to give me a gentle kiss on the back of the neck. :)FYI, I love flowers all but roses, especially red ones. I think they are lame and unimaginative. I hate the thorns too. :) I'm not sure I like the first date thing, too much presure. I would rather have a first meeting and just go very casual, somewhere for drinks where its not too loud so we can get to know each other or shoot pool. The big things should come later.

Hello. A little about me. I am a mother of 3 adult children, two daughters and one son. My oldest daughter passed away four years ago at the age of 26. My other two (daughter and son) are twins. They are now 27 years old and on their own. My daughter lives down south so I try to travel down as often as possible to see her. I am also a grandparent of three awesome beautiful girls. 11, 5 & 11months. I am also very proud to say I am a member of the Blue Star Moms. Three Blue Stars, one for each child deployed. My son, daughter & son in-law. I have been employed with the local county police dept for the last 20 years. I've been in several commands over the years and each one was a blessing to be a part of. Would love to share the future memories with someone that also wants to share what life has to offer. At 53 years old, no children at home, I like to jump in the car and just go. Whether it be the next town over or a journey thru states. As much as I love to see new different places, I also love the comforts of home and family. I love all genres of music. Well, not all. I do not like rap. Give me classic rock, country, blues, jazz, classical, soul, reggae....I like the beach and the country. I can adapt to almost anything and willing to experience just about anything. I have knocked one dream trip off my bucket list. Awesome trip, but would have been so much better if shared with someone special. Another dream trip is an African Safari. Being a contestant or just being able to try out the course on "Wipe Out" looks like awesome fun. I love roller coasters, sling shot chair ride, anything exciting. I LOVE to laugh (I laugh LOUD), and I really love to be silly. I'm looking for someone who wants to do these silly fun things with me. I think the perfect first date would be somewhere with a relaxed atmosphere. Coffee, drinks, treats, casual n comfy. Maybe a nice casual walk/ hike at a local park or beach.
