Hi and thanks for checking out my profile..***has been a great year so far. I quit smoking, I got in shape (well, some sort of shape) and I managed to claw my way onto the property ladder. All this has been great, however I'm still missing that perfect person to share my life with. I turned 30 this year and realised its about time I got back in the dating game after being out of it for some time. I'm a relaxed and easygoing guy who has a good sense of humor (slightly warped at times admittedly). In my spare time I write, mainly short stories and prose however there are a couple of novels lurking somewhere which have yet to be finished..I enjoy a wide variety of music including rock, classical, lounge and chill-out, dub and opera, I'm also a big fan of the ballet. Weekends can easily be spent chilling out and relaxing or going on roadtrips to random and exciting places.Anyway if you're still reading, thanks for sticking around, you're a real sport.I guess I'm looking for someone genuine and honest whose loved and lost and ready to find that special someone. I don't play games (other than dungeons and dragons) and hope that we are all big enough, old enough and wise enough to realise that gets us nowhere. So, that't it.. Anymore writing will result in another unfinished novel. If you want to know more, you'll have to message me. I've had a few relationships in the past always ended for the wrong reasons like long distance etc. finally decided to spend a couple of years single, getting my life sorted, growing up and buying my own place, only problem is the world grew up too and I find I'm usually a little too old to be trying to find a relationship in a nightclub anymore, hence the reason I'm on here. My interests are art, music - I love a wide range of music not really anything mainstream though, eightees, rock, indie, some electro, some dubstep. I like keeping fit and run for charity now and then. I like films my favourite films are Drive, the lostboys and labyrinth, I like cooking, skateboarding, playing guitar. I try not to take life too seriously unless I have to, I love a good joke and someone who can make me laugh or has a sense of humour. I love travelling and seeing the world but also like having the security of a place to come home to, I like to limit my traveling to holidaying abroad *** would love to do more volunteer work and make something of my life and find someone right for me along the way. Something spontaneous not the usual drink in a bar or club...
