Hi!I'm an athletic girl who spends a lot of time surrounded by sports. I play and coach, more so than watch. Fear not, I still know how to be a lady and rock a pair of heels and a sexy black dress (and let you think you won at pool ;), open that stuck jar and squash any bugs)Oh, and I'm a big dog kinda girl and he goes everywhere with me.I am looking for that man's man/ guys' guy who likes his friends and beers and sports- and wants to share those things with me - all the while appreciating that us doing some things on our own from time to time is the foundation of a healthy relationship. I can be an extremely busy woman and am looking for someone who has their own life and is looking for someone to compliment theirs, not complete it. I enjoy more nights out, than in: keeping in mind I'm 34 so nights out are as simple as drinks at a friend's place - But it's important to know I'm not a homebody. I believe in that silly romantic notion of ending up with your best friend - the kind you can't keep your hands off of whenever you have a moment alone.(or not so alone ;P)Finally, I'd like to address this whole 'first message' idea. I read a lot of guys writing that they want us to be more creative in our *** to just say 'hi or hey there'. My feelings on this are simple: I make it akin to seeing cute guy at the bar... The first thing I'm going to try and do is make eye contact (hi or hey there initial *** hope for the returned gaze or even a smile back to show a returned Interest ' yup I like what I see too'... THEN I'm going to put the effort into coming over and engaging you in witty and insightful banter. I expect the same in return. I get a lot of really thoughtful and long *** reality is, if I don't like what I see, the *** Ok, rant over. That's me, if I've sparked some Interest- say hi :)Red I'm easy - let's just have some fun. The aforementioned game of pool is always great - but if that's not your forte then drinks on a patio works too :)

I love to have fun and try really hard not to take life too seriously. I really value my relationships with my friends and family and surround myself with good people, good food, and wine (not picky on the wine quality:). I grew up in a small town and love going back to visit my family but have always felt that I belonged in the city. I have recently become a bit of a foodie and so have been trying out a lot of new restaurants in the area. Being healthy is important to me as well. I teach group exercise classes a couple of times a week and put a lot of effort into my own fitness/health. I am thrilled with the direction my career is heading and work really hard to be the best at what I do. I currently do event planning marketing for not-for-profit professional associations and am finishing up the MBA program at St.I am looking for someone with whom I can just be myself. I am quirky and fun and strive to enjoy life. I also LOVE to laugh. My best friend says I make her feel like the funniest person on earth because I always laugh at her jokes; even if they're bad (which is totally true). When it comes to dating I am looking for a kind, ambitious person who wants to have fun with me.

Still skeptical about this site it's an interesting social experiment but so far not much more. I'm English therefore I have a very dry sense of humor, I'm opinionated, political, and I tend to speak my mind, which on occasion may cause offence although not intended. I'm passionate about the things I love, my son is one of my proudest accomplishments although not my only one (accomplishments that is).I'm independent and far from typical, and will probably never conform. I have a fair bit of ink and plan on more....and just so you know I wont respond to people without photos coz I find it a lil weird, and lets face it there has to be some physical attraction, so if I don't respond don't take it too personally, I also tend not to respond messages like "sup" "hi" "how you doing", I don't expect you to wow me with your wit or write an essay but it's nice to have more than 5 words. Take down the government, then maybe go for a pint and a kebab
