Hi, I see myself as an outgoing, fun, caring, down to earth kinda gal. I love to make people smile and if I can get a laugh out of them, well, even better! Then there is going to a park and having a picnic of course with lot's of layering for warmth and then walking afterwards. There is a lot to do at this time of the year. It is my favorite season!

I put my personal life somewhat on hold to raise my son and work my a*** off to make a good living. Now having accomplished both of those feats - my son is finishing college and I am "semi-retired" looking for something new to keep me occupied - I am now ready to try this online dating thing. I still have all the equipment to do these things but without someone to share these adventures with I haven't done much of them in awhile. Of course I love to do all the usual activities like enjoying good food, conversation, movies, walks on the beach, blah, blah, blah. A few things you will never find me doing are watching sports on TV, going "shopping" for fun, or reading my "facebook" page (don't have one, will never have one so don't ask). My desired dress is causal - shorts and tank tops in summer - jeans in colder weather; my demeanor is laid back; and sorry guys but I don't do makeup (as my pictures clearly show).What sets me apart from most others is that I am very intelligent and highly curious about the world so I read (nonfiction) voraciously. I love learning and exploring new ideas, and thinking outside of the "box" that society has built around most peoples' observations, awareness and beliefs. I am a truth seeker and have awaken from the matrix that the majority of the sheeple still live in. What I mean by being a truth seeker is that I don't look to any so called "authority" (government, main-stream media, allopathic doctors, lawyers, clergy, economist, etc.) to determine what to believe or how to live my life. What I am looking for is someone whom I can respect and can connect with. For me to be able to respect you and connect with you, you need to be intelligent, well-read, a critical thinker, and non-religious. Believing in fairy tales (i.e., organized religion) is a sign to me of your failure to think critically. If you rely on the opinions of the so called "authorities" to define your reality and you have not taken an active interest in finding the truths in this world by doing independent research and thinking then sorry to be so honest but we probably are not compatible.Finally, if you are not interested in sharing a little information about who you are with me via *** phone calls BEFORE we meet (especially if you live at a great distance from me) then don't reply since I will not agree to meet you until I know something about you. I don't expect *** "chemistry" and hope you don't either. In my experience chemistry grows as one gets to know another person and is usually rarely found in the first *** could care less what a "first date" entails. I don't expect to be wined and dined on a first date. To me a first date could involve just a face to face meeting, grabbing a cup of coffee (even though I don't drink coffee - lol) or whatever.

Well I guess this is just a another way to meet people???? Me althogh I have heard women's age is a big secret but soon I will turn 52. YesI the time I have spent here does show on my face LOL. but on the good side I am told I still have the body of a teeanager (maybe they were drunk trying to get into my pants????LOL) My daughter just graduated so I bought a Miata and some golf clubs. I am self suffient (maybe to much for my own good) Honest to a fault kinda kooky at times, love to dance, and might even beat you at a game of pool. I don;t care for scarcasm or someone that is the smartest person in Calgary but someone that wants to hang out - do stuff and see where it goes and seenings how winter is setting in am looking to find someone to spend the cold nights with.
