I love playing sports (especially softball and volleyball) and enjoy all kinds of music...except country. I'm active and hit the gym, but I'm not obsessive about it. Working out is so I can enjoy a gorge fest at a great restaurant...so I'll leave it at that for now. I do want that someone who is my equal, but also challenges me. I want to sit across from one another and feel that electric pull where nothing is boring, especially the conversation. Where minutes turn into hours in the blink of an eye because stimulation and connection are magnetic. Generally, I like a casual drink at a casual bar. Nothing too fancy, but likely not a complete dive either. Don't get me wrong - I love a good hole in the wall but that's perhaps for the 5th or 6th date if we get that far. A date is not so much about what you're doing or where it's about chemistry - physical, conversational, intellectual. So, good to keep it simple.

I am a single mother to a 3 year old. Her father is not in her life as he chooses not to be. I am a full time student and will be getting my associates degree in the summer. Let me start by saying that I am not really excited about a dating site, but I really don't think I will meet the man of my dreams in the grocery store like the movies :) I don't get out much and when I do it is grocery shopping, errands or bowling (a women's league doesn't help me out much in my search, lol).I am a self sufficient women looking for the same in a partner. I am looking for a confident, honest and affectionate man. He should probably have patience as well because I can be stubborn and am not afraid to challenge him once in a while. I spend most of my weekends around the house, karaoke (not a great singer, but I like the atmosphere) or I visit family. I have recently started reading again, so that takes up some of my evenings. Jeez, sounds pretty boring. I am sure I am leaving things out as I find it hard to write about myself. I like most music, it just depends on my mood.
