I'm an animal lover ... I think my dogs are better people than most people I know. I like any kind of music, trying new and different things, going fast in a boat or walking slowly in a park ... and swinging so high on a swing that you almost fall off. I want to meet someone who makes me laugh and who likes being with me and isn't afraid to tell me so. I like people on the inside best, outside appearances aren't that important ... I don't care for shallow people, anyway, they make me feel impatient. Life is wonderful and I'm not looking for anything or anyone specific, but meeting someone who likes me for me would be nice. Hmm. I think once you know you want to talk to someone to get to know them better, the best first date is somewhere quiet where you can talk while focusing on learning who the person really is. Sometimes you don't have to talk a lot to find that out. The loud, fun dates around lots of people can come later, tho (not that visiting and getting familiar isn't fun, too). Anywhere conducive to a personal conversation doing something relaxing is best ... it can be lunch or a simple dinner, followed by a walk along the Boardwalk (how come no one wants to do that?) and a ride on the trolley. Nice.
