I am a young woman who has realized that life doesn't always go as planned and that embracing that acceptance can be a hard pill to swallow, however once done, it opens your life to endless possibilities. I am finding that living in the present moment can relieve more stress than imagined, and day to day I attempt to make that a habit. I am highly educated and I have returned to school for my BCBA because I am a life long learner and I must just accept that. As far as interests, I partake in a lot of spiritual reading and have taken up yoga. Still working on meditating, but when I do I feel refreshed and amazing! I am also an adventurous, spontaneous person who likes anything from hiking mountains, skiing, concerts, watching movies, playing games, sporting events, the beach, and even the odd night at a casino. I am basically up for anything. My time is limited in such activities due to my beautiful son who has become my world, however as he grows I plan to expose him to all the wonderful things in life and I would love to meet someone who would share those experiences with us.I feel like I have a whole, complete, balanced life full of happiness. I'm happy on my own and if that is intended for me so be it, but I do find myself missing that special someone from time to time. I would be fooling myself if I didn't admit that. So, every day I continue on with my "plan" which is to have a happy life where my son can grow up in a positive, loving, enriched, environment. I would love to meet open people and develop friendships, casual relationships and hopefully one day meet my soul mate; a person that I am in love with who is not only my best friend but also my lover, emotional supporter, and counterpart. I too would be that for him. It would have to be something casual where I feel safe, yet fun and adventurous. Surprise me.

Hello there! I came to the area for grad school and fell in love with the university and people (and haven't left since). I really enjoy getting involved within my community (with things like church, doing service, and just taking in things like festivals, dancing, dining, etc). I am pretty out-going, and will try just about anything as long as I'm in good company (i.e. rec league kickball & flag football, MCM 10k, musicals, tubing, skiing, travels, etc. I'm excited I went sailing for the first time this summer and can certainly understand the addiction :)). I also love to laugh (and make others laugh). I think you have to be able to laugh at yourself as well...life's just too short to always be serious-everything in moderation, right?!? I also really value good communication...you never have to wonder what's on my mind-I hope you're willing to engage :) I am a music junky-I have some sort of music playing pretty much wherever I am. I like most genres... I guess I'm mostly a top 40's kind of girl? I love to travel. One of my goals is to visit all the continents (well, maybe not Antarctica :)) and all 50 states. So...next on my list is Australia and stateside I need to make some plans to travel to the west coast a bit more.So...that was a lot about me...what about you? Also, with the pictures-I am not usually impressed with pics of everyone half naked...leave something up to the imagination and to discover together...pics in which you're smiling will really sell things for me :) I also value someone who is independent-I am looking for a partner in crime, but will not disregard all the other friendships in my life to make that work. Finally, I find myself in a little jam-I find it very attractive when men are active in their children's lives (as I see this as an expectation of any parent), but I have to be honest...I have little dating experience with guys with children...please just know that I'll need some grace with that if that's something we would have to navigate as well.I hope you'll drop me a line! :) I really can be flexible...I would love a good conversation over drinks or coffee or dinner, but I also would love trying something new in a neighboring city or even going for a walk downtown.
