I am pretty comfortable in my own skin these days. It's an amazing feeling. Life is good. Happiness is a choice and an inside job. I'm a little old-fashioned, and like a man who knows that chivalry and romance are not dead. Integrity, honesty and kindness...these things are very important to me - in myself and in others. I have my feet on the path of gratitude, compassion, and self-realization with a dash of spiritual study thrown in. It would be nice if you were somewhere on that path, as well.Please bring to the table: Communication skills, a sense of humor, smarts, and a comfort level with being tactile (after getting to know someone). Please have no propensity for living with your phone in your hand. Our phones are great tools for sure but I try not to have mine glued to my hand. I am somewhat petite being that I'm about a size 4. Athletic with curves - interpret at will. Just sayin' :I don't have kids but I welcome yours.No drugs, guys. You must have photos posted to your profile and they should show what you look like. You know...without sunglasses and close enough to let people see your face. Physical attraction is just one level of attraction, yes, but it is part of it. I describe myself as a liberal who chooses to live conservatively. For the most part, I am lighthearted and fun to be around (my friends tell me I should do Stand Up) but I am also a thinker. I think I have a good balance between my right and left brain. My father was an engineer and my mother was an artist, so there you go. I'm spiritual but I appreciate and learn from several world religions. Sometimes I'm deep but I also have a very CRASS sense of humor! I like to get dressed up and go out to a club with live music or to a cultural event and am also perfectly comfortable being a casual couch potato. I work out ***days a week and try to be healthy without being overzealous about it. I live downtown so I like to go to the park, dog park, farmers market or dine out and occasionally meet friends at a club in the area. For work I used to practice pharmacy but now I renovate historic houses and LOVE it! Fun is fun and a sense of humor is a must but I would like to meet someone who also has depth, another “thinker” I can truly connect with - someone who is willing to let me into his head, heart, and soul. I'm in no hurry in that I'm very happy with my life now but if Mr. Right comes my way tomorrow I'm good with that too! I wish everyone here well. :) My ideal first date would be something like dinner then sitting under the stars with a blanket, a bottle of wine and inspiring conversation until the sun comes up.
