Welll... I am a fine arts student at the U of A. Art is both my hobby and my life. I enjoy body modifications, music of a broad variety (though admittedly i mostly listen to punk, crust, and 80's goth rock hahah). I love cats (have a pretty cute one) anddd i'm typically pretty busy with school throughout the year but i'm back on here mostly due to boredom and the lack of straight single guys in the art world. I'm pretty well travelled, i grew up in New Zealand for most of my life, did a stint in South East Asia as well.. my folks also used to live in the Middle East, so i've done my fair share of travelling. What i'm listening to these days includes The Stooges, The Descendants, Adolescents, Subhumans, Minor Threat, Black Flag, Gang of Four, Fugazi, Rolling Stones, Bauhaus, Neil Young, UK Subs, Choking Victim (and Leftover Crack obv... plenty of others but those are my main favs.In terms of movies i love a good horror flick, any quality gangster movie, thrillers, comedies, sci-fi (bit of a sci-fi nerd). Tv shows..... Ultimately I'm pretty independent and i haven't been in a relationship in eons so i have relatively low expectations of these.. 'dating sites'.. but i try to remain at least a tad optimistic and not entirely cynical. Though i think being cynical is one of my more amusing qualities. I can be kind of funny too... in my own odd way. Would love to just have an intelligent conversation with a smart or interesting fella. Annnd go. Perhaps a coffee someplace. If you're the show-going type i am always down to hit up a live music venue (preferably to go watch a punk/metal/ska/something decent/ show... but i'm relatively open minded).

I like most kinds of music from the classics to top 40 music is always playing in my head and is the soundtrack to life. Warning I can sometimes randomly start singing and dacing but it's part of my charm. I am also very close with my family and love hanging out with my little cousins. I'm very passionate about children with medical problems and helping them to have fun and be a regular kid. I am a very compasionate and caring person and accepting of everyone and I don't like to judge people and hate it when others do.I taught myself to crochet and started a online company I mostly sell the Grant hat the money from these hats go to the Kids Cancer Care Foundation which is a great foundation for children and families who are affected by cancer.I wish I could travel more would love to go around Europe and explore the different cultures. Love my anthropology classes in school. I love board games and I enjoy watching people play video games I try to play as well (I suck and own it!). I also like to watch the History channel and watch documentries. I'm a many sided person as you can probably tell so it takes awhile to really know me. I'm not into going to clubs and getting drunk so if you're a party animal we will probably not work outWhat I'm looking forSomeone who is caring is is a very important quality for another person to have. Also I want someone who is open with me about how they feel and what is going on in their life. Someone who can make me laugh is also very important although it isn't hard to make me laugh. It is important that I can count on someone to be there for me when I need them. I am a hopeless romantic and would love if a guy could be romantic sometimes. It is important that I can just hang out with a guy and just spend an evening at home together talking and watching t.v I really want someone who can be my best friend and boyfriend also if you cook that is a huge plusI have learned that it is important that the person I am with believe in God or some sort of higher power or at least be open to the idea I don't need someone that has religion in their every day lifestyle or anything like that but I had issues with previous relationships since they did not believe in God and I could not talk with them about that when it came up in my life. Plus I enjoy having conversations about my thoughts on serious issues such as religion. Of course we will not have the same thoughts on everything but this is one that is important to me.Someone who has had a previous long term relationship would be perfered don't feel like teaching someone person what is normal in a relationship and all that stuff for a third time.Also would like it if you are planning on staying in Calgary I don't plan to ever leave and I don't want to form a serious relationship or connection with someone just to have to deal with them leaving. Also if you are judgmental homophobic or any of those types of things I'm not intersted people should be able to love and marry whoever they wish. I'm 23 and work at the local family bike shop. I spend my days slangin bicycles and sweeping the floor..haha. No mechanic here, but I can sure sell you a sweet ride! If I'm not at work I'm probably smoking or being musical..probably at the same time :) I play piano and guitar and sing really awesome covers. My favorite thing about music is playing the same song 90 times, haha. I love a good mustache, or beard, better yet- both. Nothing says man like well groomed facial hair ;). Sometimes I think I'm super hilarious and witty. One of my favorite passtimes is turning words into dinosaurs, or creating awesome combinations of words. I frequently watch kids movies, and "that's what she said" moments happen daily. I dont wear real pants, my hair is half purple, and I have lots of tattoos and more planned for the future :) Something supremely awkward that involves either one of us staring anywhere but at the others face. Like, The Office awkward.
