Hello everyone! :-)I decided to sign on here to meet new people in the city and have a good time. I have been hit by a major travel bug over the last couple years. I travelled Europe just recently, and Australia, and southeast Asia last year amongst many smaller trips over the years. It has by far been the best experiences I have ever had, and plan to keep travelling as a guiding force in my life and future. My perspective on life has changed quite drastically in the last couple years, and my focus now is just to enjoy life, and experience new things. To address the whole hobbies/interests thing... I'm a fairly artistic person, have an appreciation for all kinds of music, currently working towards a healthier lifestyle, and a fairly cheesy romantic girl at heart which is reflected in my favorite movies! I love trying new things and experiencing everything the world has to offer... Do anything and everything that scares me because you only live once! Pretty standard response, but I think it depends on who you are with. I'm a fan of coffee or something simple for the first date to break the ice!

Hi, I'm Bekah! I finally finished my BA at UNM in psychology and family studies, so I’m getting used to the world of having a real job. I’ve gotta say, it feels pretty good! I’m definitely a planner, but my plans have a way of changing very fluidly. Up next on the agenda is grad school,at some point. I also volunteer regularly at various animal shelters. Working with the critters is how I decompress after a long day/week, and it's something I always look forward to. At home, I have two dogs, a parrot, and horses.We're a busy, hectic bunch, but that's half the fun of it!I'm always looking for something new to learn, or to absorb myself in. Now I work at a residential treatment center for kids with behavioral issues, But in the past, I’ve worked at a coffee shop, taught horseback riding lessons, summer day camps, taken care of the elderly, worked in a call center, and started on a certification as a birth doula.I'm incredibly family oriented. I come from a large family, and we're all very close. My cousins are more like siblings, and we all get together at least once a month. I just got licensed as a foster parent, so my kid status is likely to change frequently. Right now I have an 11 year old boy and a 6 month old girl who keep me pretty busy and endlessly entertained. :) I can be really goofy at times (just watch me interact with the birds, and you'll get some idea...), and I tend to be very forward and outspoken once I get to know you.I'm looking to meet new people and expand my circle of friends. Now that I'm not in school, the opportunities to meet new people have become few and far between. Ultimately, I'm looking for someone to share my life with, but I'm not in a hurry to make that happen if it isn't right.
