    I just started my Master's degree at U of T in Physiology; however, I will be switching to my PhD in a year. I would love to have my own lab someday. I'm a kind soul and I love meeting new people. Problem is I'm extremely shy. I often get told I'm 'too quiet' or 'look disinterested'. This is probably because I am quiet around new people and have trouble making eye contact with people I don't know. I try to be as polite as possible in every situation and really hate that people mistake me for someone who thinks they are better than everyone else because I actually feel quite inferior.
