About Me

Well, let me begin by saying I AM interested in being in at a relationship, but I have NO intention of jumping straight into one. I also am not interested in having conversations that are purely sexual, either. Though I am far from perfect, I feel that I have a lot to offer, and am much more than a red head with a pin-up girl body. Rather, I am a 5'3" elementary special education teacher at a title I school , and I absolutely love what I do! Nothing makes me happier than helping others and at times being the only positive, consistent, and trustworthy person that a child has. I rather not write a novel on things a man must or mustn't have/do in order to message me. There are so many exceptions to the rules, why pass up an opportunity to meet someone amazing (meaning you, not me....although I am quite the catch :-P pun intended )? However, I will say that it helps if you have at least ONE picture:-without a hat-without sunglasses-WITH a smile. Ooo! Epecially one where you're cracking up; I find it absolutely adorable! Also, you've earned some brownie points if you have your hair parted to the side or a scruffy beard. Imagine Captain America if he didn't shave for a week. ;-) I love to laugh and joke around. Some would say I'm a bit of a smartass, so a light-hearted good time with not a lot of pressure for more would be preferable. I'll leave the deets up to you. ;-)

    I'm 25 years old and currently working in the IT industry, although I have a double major in Sociology & Criminology. My main passion in my life has always been sports, especially basketball, which I played at the varsity level. Now that there isn't much time for sports, I have begun to seriously focus on my fitness as both a hobby/pastime and as a regular part of my lifestyle. I have a variety of interests and am a very intellectual person, and I have always had difficulty in finding a man that I can connect with on both a sexual and intellectual level. I do have a type, which is tall dark and handsome, although I realize there are more important things than physical traits. I have dated men of all backgrounds. I dont care about race or religion in terms of a partner, only morals and values. I think I would prefer to meet someone similar to myself: serious on the surface, but once you get to know me, deep down, there is a real clown in me! Because of my strong personality, I think I would need my man to be very assertive. I am so used to taking the lead in my own life, I really would like someone to hand over the reigns to at times. Naturally I am introverted, but I go out with my girlfriends and socialize and enjoy myself pretty often nevertheless. I have been happy being single, but I'm looking for something more in my life at this point. Within 3 years I hope to buy a home or condo and hopefully be in a serious relationship, potentially heading towards marriage. I want to be a wife and mother. So there you have it, I tried to be very to-the-point :)
