I love the mountains and the outdoors. Hiking, canoeing, fishing, camping, photography, animals I have a Corgi,and two cats, the beach, sunsets, theater, church , and many other interests. I have 2 lovely grown daughters that I raised and 1 lovely granddaughter. Family is very important to me and we get togrther often and music almost always happens if you've seen pics. Just bought a house in St Augustine which is awesome. I have a serious side at work and a goofy side most of the other time. Be honest with me I dislike BS. I enjoy teaching. I love playing to and creating and performing songs. I love the blues. I am trying to decide which way to take my career, there are several opportunities. I am trying to decide if I want to move into educational administration or teach college and I am still trying to figure which way to go. You get an opportunity to meet in a non threatening environment as opposed to a formal meal, dinner, lunch or whatever else. Live music, one or 2 guys playing music, not a big band, but where you can talk and visit and decide how you get along. After that if things seem to go well it might be best to exchange contact information and have a more formal or informal date depending on what impressions you and the other person have made on each other.

I am a transplant in CA from WA. Not sure what brought me here but it has worked out well. I enjoy riding the trails on my mountain bike and I am a National Ski Patrol in the winter... Life is good. There are lots of outdoor activities here and I love the outdoor concerts and markets. The lakes are full this year and look forward to getting out and enjoying the summer !!Down deep I am a small town boy. Don't get me wrong, I love to go out on the town now and then, dining, dancing, and swallowed up in the comfort of a woman I adore.. (wishful thinking). I am funny but a bit shy at first and it takes me a while to open up but when I do I won't shut up (not really). I love most types of music from rock to classical but can do without twangy country and foul-mouthed rap/hiphop...The economy took its toll on my construction business and had to fall back on my skills as a broadband technician but it hasn't got me down, I know things will rebound (GULP)!!!!I don't want this to sound wrong or for anyone to get the wrong impression, but please be HWP to respond. Understand, I DO like women with curves but health and activity are still important to me and being seriously overweight is a deal breaker for me. I apologize if this offends anyone. Fairly slow. It is the time that you both are just meeting anf learning each other. I don't get overwhelmed by first impressions, good or bad. Sometimes the nervousness of the first meeting can cast a different shadow.....Maybe just a nice quiet dinner with a relaxed atmosphere and talk. By the time dinner is over we both should feel better about where this might lead us, maybe out dancing or a movie we BOTH want to see... I slow walk up her driveway/sidewalk and then let the feelings of the night show their response, I warm, tingly kiss or perhaps just a friendly hug waiting to mature into something later....;-O
