Hello,I’m originally from the east coast but always felt more at home in CA, so in 89 I persisted in finding a job out here (old school -- no internet!) I then packed up and moved without knowing a soul out here. Best decision I've ever made, I guess you could say I’m adventurous.Here’s how I see myself and qualities I strive to have (and value in others):Witty, warm, confident, centered, outspoken, empathetic, loyal, sincere, affectionate and I make a great cup of coffee. Humor is a big part of my personality; I’m the funniest person I know :-). I’ll be the first one to laugh at myself -- can’t take life too seriously.For fun I’m game for almost anything, exploring, long drives, live music (partial to blues), hiking, movies ( I look for sleepers). Lately I’ve gotten into disc golf, it’s a lot of fun -- and I’ve never played regular golf. I like that it’’re not competing so everyone has a good time.It’s clear to me that communication is the most important thing in any relationship; I’ll talk to you about anything you like. Of course most communication is non-verbal so we’ll have a better idea when we meet.I tend to look forward and have a positive attitude, I know that the future is wide open and It’s totally up to me to have my life turn out the way I want, that includes finding a mate with whom we can both thrive (is that you?). I’m generally happy and satisfied with my life and how things are going. People tend to like me and feel comfortable around me.I’m out of a 15 year relationship that ended 2 years ago with integrity (still friends). I look forward to dating with all that I've learned about myself and relationships over the years.I’m looking for someone that I feel comfortable with, has similar values and wants a partner to explore with whether it be a hole in the wall eatery, going for a drive, listening to live music, preparing an awesome meal together. It's the journey and who you're with rather than the destination. Easy on the eyes is good too, but really it’s who you are and that we can be ourselves around each other that is most important to me. I don't like olives or zombies.
