Hello,I’m originally from the east coast but always felt more at home in CA, so in 89 I persisted in finding a job out here (old school -- no internet!) I then packed up and moved without knowing a soul out here. Best decision I've ever made, I guess you could say I’m adventurous.Here’s how I see myself and qualities I strive to have (and value in others):Witty, warm, confident, centered, outspoken, empathetic, loyal, sincere, affectionate and I make a great cup of coffee. Humor is a big part of my personality; I’m the funniest person I know :-). I’ll be the first one to laugh at myself -- can’t take life too seriously.For fun I’m game for almost anything, exploring, long drives, live music (partial to blues), hiking, movies ( I look for sleepers). Lately I’ve gotten into disc golf, it’s a lot of fun -- and I’ve never played regular golf. I like that it’’re not competing so everyone has a good time.It’s clear to me that communication is the most important thing in any relationship; I’ll talk to you about anything you like. Of course most communication is non-verbal so we’ll have a better idea when we meet.I tend to look forward and have a positive attitude, I know that the future is wide open and It’s totally up to me to have my life turn out the way I want, that includes finding a mate with whom we can both thrive (is that you?). I’m generally happy and satisfied with my life and how things are going. People tend to like me and feel comfortable around me.I’m out of a 15 year relationship that ended 2 years ago with integrity (still friends). Hello.... I enjoy deep conversations just as much as being silly and laughing for hours. I am also very much into music and dining out and amusement parks as well as spending quality alone time with that special Woman. I used to have an annual pass to Disneyland and am considering getting another cause it's the perfect happy place !!!. We could stroll along a Museum or take a drive down the coast for a romantic dinner. Lets go root for the home team at a ballgame or have a picnic at the beach. I see many profiles that tell me what I should be in order to go out with you....what are you kidding me?.......let me be me and like me for who I am not because I meet criteria on your checklist!!!. Looking for Superman?.........I will probably let you down.......sorry I am human and that's just the way it is. What I will give you is my honesty, loyalty, plenty of attention, affection and lots of laughs. I also will say that I am working on losing about 50 lbs and I will get there eventually, time to get healthier and happier !!!! A first date could be for coffee or at a park...somewhere that there would be very comfortable for both. We could talk and get to know one another without feeling any type of pressure and in a relaxed atmosphere......It really doesnt matter where because if there is that spark between two people, your not going to care about where you are at that moment as long as it is with the other !!!!

The plane takes off at midnite and lands in the middle of the desert somewhere around five a.m. the next day .I grab my carry on and bag of weed and step out into the heat of the early morning .The sun is just peeking up over the mountains to the west.Not my first choice of ride but then again it could have been worse.My driver is standing by the door of the car with his hand held up to shade his eyes.He sees me and half-heartedly waves in my direction..My legs feel as though they are made of lead.Oh yes, I'm looking for an athletic body type...I used to have one but I'm not sure what I did with it.Seriously I do like to stay fit and I work out 2 or 3 times a week.My musical tastes range from Avenged Sevenfold, Led Zeppelin ,Pink Floyd ,Lola Black (a local band) Rob Zombie ....are we seeing a trend here?Ok I like the typical things beach,mountains,sports,Broncos,,went to my first Nuggets game this year,but I digress.I like all kinds of music mostly rock.I usually can't stand listening to dance club music...HOWEVER...(I didn't even know what house music was) Holy sh*t I can't believe how much I enjoyed myself! It was great!So I like to get out of my comfort zone occasionally and that was way out of it! LOLSo anyway I you made it all the way down here and happened to notice my little story up there ...Just so you know I am aware of the fact that the sun doesn't rise in the west in this hemisphere.Also I don't smoke weed or typically carry it with me.I own my own business and have since early 90's.I can work pretty much when I want and am not on any set schedule.I do work hard when I am working but I like my downtime too.Having said that I am looking to expand my horizons and try something new once I have saved enough to take the leap.I am not looking to retire just try something new.Thanks for checking me out .Have a good fishing trip! Lets go downtown and get lunch and a beer.Actually iced tea sounds good too. but what's really important thing is the second date so you must of liked something about the person to have a second date right?that's where I get to show off my cooking skills and hopefully you will be there to work together with me creating a fantastically delicious dinner!
