Well how does one describe themselves...? Do I tell you all about my wants and dislikes? Do I tell you about my hobbies and what I'm into...? Where did I grow up? How did I get to the place in my life where I am right now? Where would I rather be...? Where is the most interesting place I've ever been...? If I reveal all of these interesting tidbits about myself, what will we have to talk about when we get together in person? In short, I like a lot of the same things other people like- to read, go out with friends, travel, relax, movies, History, Rock-n-Roll as well as Classical, go to local art shows and cultural events.... I like a man and friends who are confident and mellow but can also cut up on occasion... Some one who is kind and compassionate and can laugh at himself just as easily as he can with someone else... He should be in a stable job he's happy in and have his "stuff" together... He doesn't have to be rich but being happy in his life and with those around him is more attractive to me... Most of all I'm looking to meet someone to go out and have a fun time with, maybe start as friends and see where that takes us.... I really do not like "getting to know" someone via *** texts, the subtlety and nuance of face to face are just not there and there is to much room for some sort of misunderstanding... I prefer, if someone is interested in me to say they'd like to get to know me and we can meet up. For a first date or get together- I think something easy like going for coffee or drinks is good. It gives you a chance to get to meet and learn a little about the person. It is low key and can always be carried over into something longer if both of us are having a good time, we can exchange phone numbers and make plans for another time in the near future or we can go our separate ways. By the way, I have stopped asking men out first.... It doesn't seem to get anything accomplished when I suggest we meet in person in fact for some reason it seems to drive them away...???? This doesnt mean I have a defeatist attitude it just means that if youre interested enough to *** couple of times you should be interested enough to at least spend the time to meet up for coffee or drinks and get to know me in person.
