Welcome to the little box where I'm supposed to sum up my personality to make myself sound interesting enough that someone out there would want to meet me. This is always the part I hate, talking about myself and trying to "sell" myself. But I suppose there isn't any way around it. I'm 33 years old and work full time as a veterinary technician. I am pursuing many different goals at the moment and I consider myself to be a very ambitious person. I am looking for someone who is also ambitious and goal oriented. In my free time, what little of it I actually get, I love to travel, go to the movies, try new restaurants, read and pursue new hobbies.I have a bit of a dry/sarcastic sense of humor and I would love to find someone who can make me laugh. I am a bit old school in who I am looking for, in that I want someone to be my best friend, someone who is intelligent/educated, wants a family one day and is someone who places value in making a relationship work. With all of that said, I realize this could be a tall order and some say I'm too picky but I'm not someone who is willing to settle. I would love to think my someone special is out there and I'm willing to take my time to find him and just have fun in the meantime :) I would love to get into something new and different for a first date. I really appreciate someone who is creative and thinks outside the box.

Well, where to start...I work in the corporate world, but you'd likely never guess that when meeting me. I still use the word "dude", am witty, sarcastic, pretty random and enjoy laughing! :) I'm into all things vintage; clothes, furniture, household items, etc... I love flea markets and looking through old things and hopefully hearing some stories behind them. Currently, I am in the process of starting up an online shop selling vintage clothes and I'm super excited to get that going! What else, I have a kick-ass 7 year old daughter...this is probably pretty important to share! Right now, I'm not really looking for anything serious, however I am completely open to something happening naturally. If I come out of this experience with a new friend to chill and throw back some beers from time-to-time with, I'm cool with that too! Apparently, if I want to be successful on meetville I need to share my taste in music. Well, I'm all over the place, I like punk, alternative, indie, blah blah blah...pretty much open to anything except country. Just can't get down with country...so here's a few bands that I do like - Radiohead, Social Distortion, Gorillaz, Portishead, The Pixies, Deftones, Hot Chip. See it's all over! :) P.S.- I'm trying to quite smoking hence the "occasional smoker". Umm...first dates are weird when you seriously don't know the other person. I think maybe just meeting up for a drink or what have you and keeping it casual with no-pressure to start is the best bet. Then we can figure out what will hopefully be a way less awkward "first/second" date!

Two traits that best characterize me are easy-going and quick to smile. I am up for just about anything---at least once. For the most part, I’m a t-shirt and jeans kind of girl. Definitely not “high maintenance” or a “girly girl,” but that does not mean I don’t like to dress up for the occasion and be romanced. For me, kindness, honesty, and confidence (without arrogance) in oneself and abilities are turn-ons. A sense of humor is also important.I love the outdoors! In the summer months, I enjoy hiking, camping, fishing, backpacking, and drinks with friends. The winter months are pretty relaxed. I usually spend my time curled up on the couch reading a good book, watching movies (snuggling would be big bonus here), listening to music, and snowshoeing when possible. And as a general rule, I never turn down going to a good brew pub or coffee shop.So...I am looking for someone I can hike along a trail with, sit next to at the movies, share a few beers with at a brewery, snuggle with on the couch, capable of genuine conversations, and who is open to new adventures. Simply stated I am looking for someone to share my time and create memories. I am also open to trying and learning new things and expect the same in return.
