I enjoy many different activities but not looking to be on the run all the time. It would be nice to find that special person that you can just enjoy ,.I am not here to waste good peoples time not into long term chat and drama free. I work hard and play nice and should the right person for me come along I would be a great partner. I enjoy the outdoors, good movies, good friends, good conversation and meeting great people.Would like to find a local long term relationship within a 30 min drive. I am in good shape and health with hope for happy beginings. I am warm, affectionate and honest. If you are brave and ready to move forward given the right opportunity I look forward to meeting you. I welcome you to say hi and wish us all well in our searchBe Happy and Brave !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. My idea for a first meeting would be comfortable and low key so that we can talk and share a little new friends always welcomed but my goal would be a long term relationship. If we are a good fit we will take it from there.

I am a diver who has been fortunate enough to have met some wonderful folks who operate a Salmon Enhancement Program here in B.C. The whole process has been an eye opening experience that, for me, has proved the validity of their program. I am a heavy equipment operator who thoroughly enjoys his work; plus it pays well. I am a better than average cook and like to experiment and try new things. I've been told by a globe trotting family friend that my Caesar Salad was the best she'd ever had. I have a large selection of music, and enjoy all genres, but not all in each genre. There is good/bad rock, good/bad classical....etc. Like the old saying goes, it's not the destination, it's the journey. Discovery is good for the soul...pun intended. I enjoy walking/hiking. Mt. I really like Songhees Point and Westsong Way and I don't get there as often as I would care to. I think the first date should be somewhere that both people feel secure in and should have other people around. That's just wisest, isn't it? Personally, I hold with the "coffee" date but coffee need not be on the menu. Something cold like iced tea or the like works for me. Perhaps include a walk somewhere near the wonderful vistas this city is so blessed with. or the Songhees frontage.

Thanks for stopping by,I'm not very good in describing myself, so in a nutshell;I'm a relatively well travelled guy, who my friends would say has lived a rather unconventional life. There is much more that I can add, and would be happy to do so, just not online.I believe and live by the motto; treat others as you would like to be treated.Accordingly, I would like to meet someone, who like me, is responsible, thoughtful, and believes that empathy is an asset, oh, and importantly, isn't afraid to laugh at themselves.Although my profile indicates a preference for dating, I'd be quite pleased to enter into a relationship if the right person came along.I admire and appreciate an assertive woman, so please don't be shy if you would like to find out more. Thanks for visiting.P.S. Please note that the tiny arms in my photo belong to my friend's adorable son. I have nieces and nephews but no children myself.P.S. We can decide together.
