An Officer and a Gentleman and a hopeless romantic. I have travelled the seven seas but still haven't found "the one". I am a retired Navy Commander and Business Executive. These days I am an entrepreneur. I am very blessed to have a wonderful and fulfilling ife, but alas like so many other fish in the sea I can't seem to get caught lol...I am quite flexible and comfortable in most social and personaI relationships. I am very young at heart and am kind, gentle, romantic and love to treat a woman old-fashioned style. I don't do one night stands or date just to get out of the house. CHEMISTRY is very important to me, and will also be to a potential partner. No spark no *** still believe in romance and love to love. I guess that comes with my Italian genes. Whether writing songs and singing/playing guitar over forty years, or working on one of my various collections, I remain busy and happy. But I very much want to share my success and happiness with the right fish. My first date is a cozy restaurant for dinner and conversation. I am not into pre-dates at Starbucks. Totally un-romantic. If you want to date you date. I always pick cool restaurants, its the Italian in me. I believe a nice dinner and conversation gives the opportunity to share crucial body language, since we will only remember the first five and last five minutes of our conversation.I prefer to begin the potential courtship with a short phone call. Sending messages back and forth doesn't really tell us much about each other, and If we type the wrong words or the message has no body language associated, we may very well end before we even get started:-(
