About Me

I’m an active, intelligent, down-to-earth gentleman with a great sense of humor and positive spirit. I appreciate quality of life and friendships more than money and fame. Of course I worked hard to get to a place where I feel secure and know that my children will benefit from a good college education. My daughter just recently graduated college and continues to amaze me on her path to adulthood and now into her first career. My son is a senior in high school, a wonderful young man with big dreams and hopes for his future. I’m blessed to have two of the best kids a parent could have.As for distant relationships, I prefer someone close, however, I travel to the Valley frequently and am thinking about getting a second home (condo) there to have my own place to stay when there on business and visiting friends and family. It would also be a great place to spend more time in the Winter when I need a break from the snow! I don’t consider myself materialistic, but like quality things.I enjoy meeting new people, but hope to find my next best friend to nurture a relationship with. A great friendship at first as the foundation should lead to a more fulfilling committed partnership!About the one I'm looking for...Someone that is seeking a wonderful new friendship and committed relationship. She should be honest, open about her feelings; not afraid to discuss her needs and ways her partner can enhance the relationship. She has a good sense of humor and can engage intellectually. Common interests would be great but we all know that opposites can attract as well! My companion is kind, generous, takes care of herself, smiles a lot, likes touch and holding hands, likes to greet with a hug, enjoys travel, dates, sharing a bottle of wine, and simple evenings at home in front of a fire with a good movie. She too should be looking for a new best friend and a committed caring relationship. Please e-mail me to become better acquainted. A few e-mails are okay but then let's meet to see if the chemistry is right! etc. .....

Man. 54 years old. Zodiac sign: Libra.

Looking for: woman. In age: 51-61

I am a kind and generous person who loves to be with people and to find joy in each and every day. I am enthused about cycling, cross country skiing, golf and travel, especially when doing them with a group of friends. I'm proffesionally employed and have enjoyed working in the area of my expertise for almost 30 years. I plan to work for another ***years fulltime followed by a lighter schedule (semi-retire) to accomodate more travel and to spend time with family and friends. I'm growing to be more of a simple person and am learning to better accept life on lifes terms. I enjoy the qualities and abilities of a woman that far exceed mine (and men in general). The ability to make a house a home, to make a meal a great social event and to find stuff in the pantry that I just can't see. For a first meeting I would suggest a public place such as a coffee shop or a restaraunt for coffee, tea or dessert. I would ask lots questions and hope to do more listening than talking. If the weather is favourable, a quiet walk. I would hope to exchange a warm hug if it seems appropriate.
