I haven't been on this or any other site for some time.. I thought I would give it a second chance. Forgive the pictures not being updated. I look the same, just a little grayer. My son is nearly 12 and remains a hockey nut. He plays travel hockey and that keeps me very busy.I love to do outdoor hobbies of most any sort, camping, fishing, I am also content with quiet evening at home, cooking a nice dinner and sitting back to watch a quality movie or TV program. Anything with water suites me well. Ocean, lake or pool. I am a huge hockey fan and my son is a travel hockey player.+ years in LA.I am self assured and self confindent, hopefully not arrogant. Comfortable with who I am and don't need to pretend to be something or someone I am not. I am financially and mentally stable.I thoroughly enjoy a trip to Vegas, but could care less if I stay at Sam's Town or "The Hotel" at Mandalay. I am very outgoing, social, honest, caring, and not afraid to share my feelings with someone that I am close to. I am told that I have a great sense of humor and look years younger than I actually am (I guess you will have to judge for yourself). I have beautiful children, ***years old that I have week on/week off shared custody of, and a 22 year old who lives w/ me (although I rarely see her and assume she still lives here) and goes to school. I have 2 more grown children on their own. I have a great job that affords me flexibility with my schedule an opportunity to travel to some great places, and perks that make my friends jealous. I am home office based and beyond my base of close friends, it is tough to meet new people- and it’s not happening in a bar (so here I am). Even though I am social and outgoing, I can be shy initially. I like to work out and do my best to stay fit and will occasionally partake in a Mud Run. I am a bit of a “gym rat”; however my schedule allows me to be one. I’d truly love to find someone who is honest, open, caring, and trustworthy. I value someone who can openly communicate, carry a conversation, and likes to have fun. A great match for me is a woman who would enjoy the things I enjoy; however I am open to sharing their interests and trying new things and activities as well. I love attending concerts, love the 80’s hair bands, but also love most music. I enjoy dining out and especially like trying new, non-chain restaurants. On a beautiful day I love to find a patio and enjoy a beer or margarita along with friends. With all of that said, I am just as happy staying in on a Friday or Saturday night, cooking, grilling out, and enjoying a quiet night with a movie or board game. Let’s be honest, first dates can be awkward, right? A great first date should e in a social setting that is comfortable for both of us. Perhaps lunch or dinner on a nice patio (weather permitting) or at a casual restaurant where we can actually hear what we are saying to each other. We are lucky to live in a great sports town, so another great first date would be a Stars, Mavs, or Rangers game. In the end, I want to learn about my date, your interests, what you enjoy doing, what your life is like. Along the way I hope to share the same. While I love concerts, movies, a comedy club, even a dueling piano bar (on occasion), those do not present good opportunities to talk and learn about each other.
