The first thing you should know about me is that I am a proud mother of 2 very amazing kids. Having said that, if you don't like kids, I am probably not the woman for you....I love to hang out with my kids, they keep me young and make me happy!I love to read and usually have 2 or 3 books on the go. I care about the person that you are. I am looking for someone that takes care of themselves mentally and physically. Someone who is slow to anger and accepting of others and their flaws. I'd like to meet some like minded people in the area to do things with. Please read below and if you'd like to get out send me an e-mail. Note that although I don't mind spending quiet evening at home I've had too many these past few weeks and want to get out. I enjoy hanging with friends, laughing, reading, animals, being outdoors, learning to live in the present and meditation. My interests include learning about alternative medicine and metaphysical philosophy. I try not to take life too seriously, roll with the punches and know that tomorrow is a new day. Dwelling in the past is futile and worrying about the future only creates more worry. Don't get me wrong, you still have to have a plan and be an adult, but in the end your life should be fun. In fact most of my friends are in a band, looking for a band, writing music or somehow connected with the music industry. I like all types of music and it's depends on my mood as to what I want to hear. Some new country and rap are ok, but those tend to be my least favorite. This doesn't include old school bluegrass or country (hank sr., willie, patsy...). That pretty much sums up my taste in music. somewhere quiet and laid back. Nothing serious, no stress just 2 new friends getting to know each other. Jeans and a drink hopefully sitting on a patio. Yep, that sounds about perfect to me.

Being single and 40-something has proven to be much more fun than it was in my 20's....I have to say that having been there, done that has it's benefits. And one of those is knowing what you don't want (the what you do want is the easy part).I love to travel and get away at least once a year. I enjoy taking in concerts, watching movies and trying new restaurants. Also, entertaining at my home, as well as bringing along a bottle of wine and visiting at a friend’s house is always a good time. Enjoy most sports, and especially watch during playoffs.
