So a little about me. I have two children. Youngest is in college. I love warm weather and tolerate the chilly winters. I look for honesty and sense of humor in a man. I am not looking to be kept. I own my own home and love to travel.jBut like life there are some things that I do not particularly like in a man. The list is short..Must not be Atheist. I am not saying you must be of the same religious faith, just asking for you to have faith. Another is being judgmental based upon past relationships. I am not your ex so be open minded and start fresh. I also would like to meet a mature man, a country boy with deep values. I am not interested in game players. Do not ask me for pictures or **** buddy requests. .that is vulgar even to type down but I believe it needed to be said. One more..please..if you are listed as divorced I would like that to be finalized and in the past and not looking for "lifestyle" hookups . I am one of the honest ones on here and what pictures I have posted are recent. I believe on building a relationship on a solid foundation..not of sand lies. So if you still are reading and get to this point..then maybe something I rambled on about is a value or sentiment you also have. Hit the sun and have some fun before it rains on the parade

According to meetville, if I want to be successful, I should try this:1. My hobbies include exploring the outdoors including concerts, hiking, and paddleboarding. I also practice yoga and enjoy exploring new parts of the city.2. Goals and aspirations - this would be something for us to discuss on our first date!3. Everyone's unique and everyone's similar. Getting to know each other means we get to see where we overlap and where/if differences can be complementary.4. I still listen to hair metal. I just got a car and it came with a year of SiriusXM - HairNation is making me re-live my youth! I also listen to current pop. I know it's not OK to not like country in TX, so I'm trying. As a genre, I'm still not on board, but there are a few songs I like. :)Here's some more:I do research for a living so I read a lot. And edit. A. Lot. So textspeak (e.g., ru a fn gurrrl) even when texting, drives me nuts. It's probably my biggest pet peeve. I moved here from DC recently, but I've also lived in IN (grad school), VA (more grad school), and CA (my home state).- great weather, outdoor activities, and a constant influx of people from all walks of life who are looking for an adventure (and barbecue!). While the guy didn't last, the city left a lasting impression. I doubt I need another cross-country event to surpass that one, but something original that includes both of our interests is always a great place to start.
