Hum, what to say? I'm a single mom of two of the most awesome daughters. I'm a professional in the legal field. I am laid back and fun. I'm honest, outgoing and easy to get a long with. According to meetville, if I want to be successful, I should try this:1. My hobbies include exploring the outdoors including concerts, hiking, and paddleboarding. I also practice yoga and enjoy exploring new parts of the city.2. Goals and aspirations - this would be something for us to discuss on our first date!3. Everyone's unique and everyone's similar. Getting to know each other means we get to see where we overlap and where/if differences can be complementary.4. I still listen to hair metal. I just got a car and it came with a year of SiriusXM - HairNation is making me re-live my youth! I also listen to current pop. I know it's not OK to not like country in TX, so I'm trying. As a genre, I'm still not on board, but there are a few songs I like. :)Here's some more:I do research for a living so I read a lot. And edit. A. Lot. So textspeak (e.g., ru a fn gurrrl) even when texting, drives me nuts. It's probably my biggest pet peeve. I moved here from DC recently, but I've also lived in IN (grad school), VA (more grad school), and CA (my home state).- great weather, outdoor activities, and a constant influx of people from all walks of life who are looking for an adventure (and barbecue!). While the guy didn't last, the city left a lasting impression. I doubt I need another cross-country event to surpass that one, but something original that includes both of our interests is always a great place to start.

Being single and 40-something has proven to be much more fun than it was in my 20's....I have to say that having been there, done that has it's benefits. And one of those is knowing what you don't want (the what you do want is the easy part).I love to travel and get away at least once a year. I enjoy taking in concerts, watching movies and trying new restaurants. Also, entertaining at my home, as well as bringing along a bottle of wine and visiting at a friend’s house is always a good time. Enjoy most sports, and especially watch during playoffs. As this site only allows us to see one dimension of each other, it would be nice to grab a quick coffee to see if we would like to take it on a real date....too much pressure to call it a date right away.
