I'm a young, fun 45 year old who loves spending time with friends...cooking for them, wine tasting, attending sporting events. I golf when I can, however my game needs work. NOT SEEKING INTIMATE ENCOUNTERS First off I'm a single Mom and I work VERY hard. If you DON'T like kids..(or my dogs) .. we won't get along. My daughter comes first.. while highly capable she's pretty awesome and extremely well adjusted. Respect is not an option, it's demanded. I am in healthcare surrounded by people who need me 8hrs a day. I'm not looking to be a barfly or run non stop after I'm off of work. I like to smile n laugh a lot. It's been said I'm more of a 'guy's kinda gal' .. I don't consider myself a ultra feminine/girlie-girl... I'm not prissy.. I dont' care about the latest fashion trends but more into my own style and comfort :) However, I do like dressing upon occasion.. This being said..I'm not your hunting or fishing pal either. I work very hard at what I do...and I like to relax and have fun. My career is in healthcare and I'm surrounded by folks who are physically and emotionally dependant on me for their every need. This means I like to relax and mellow out after work -- not see how many clubs can be seen in a night. First date? Hmmmm I'm a coffee and tea drinker...I DO drink, albeit more socially or with friends. I used to go dancing all the time but after working so many consecutive years in healthcare running on my feet all day/night, I kind of lost the drive to do so LOL...yet I do like to do so from time to time. I love to shoot pool even though I'm terrible at it. I have a minor competitive streak that comes out of me when surrounded by good friends, laughter, pool tables n beer.

The word I picked to describe myself is adventurous. I am not sure I have been completely successful as an adventurer but it is something I would like to get better at! I have a son and now that he is a little older ***yrs old) it is easier to go places and do things together. I decide a couple of years ago to make an effort to make some memories and we have. When I travel, I alway like to go somewhere new. I would love to elevate my cooking skills. My favorite movies are Boondock Saints, Book of Eli, Greenstreet Hooligans and all of Star Wars. I enjoy a variety of music but praise or worship music usually will restore my peace of mind. My immediate goals are to complete my bachelors degree and find a job or career that allows me to do something meaningful with my life. I would really like to find someone to just have fun with, for starters. I feel like there has been a dark cloud over my head for awhile and would like to leave that behind and step into the sun! I haven't been on a first date in a long time. I put that on the back burner while my son was younger. I suppose I would really like to do something that allows us to interact and talk. I like movies but you don't spend much time getting to know your date that way. Something low key and casual would be fine but truthfully, I want to have fun. I want to socialize and go to a comedy club and get to know people I have never met before and find ways to enrich my life. Let's go to the motorcycle show or a holiday party or coffee. Let's just do something.
