I'm a single mom of two awesome kids (my son is 13, my daughter is 11). They take up much of my time but I am looking to meet a funny, intelligent, attractive, tall (I'm almost 5'9 so prefer men at least 6' or close to it :), just all around interesting man. I been described as a guy's girl and I tend to take that as a compliment...I'm laid back, love to watch and play sports, will go to the beach or boating any day of the week and twice on Sunday, and I truly prefer a beach or Irish bar to a club. Seems like every other profile I read says "I love to travel, I have been to 8 countries this year and I plan on hitting up 2 more this month". Ok, so that's a bit of an exaggeration but how does anyone have that much spare time or money for that matter (and really, who doesn't like vacations)?? I enjoy traveling as well but to be honest, with two kids, I don't get to do it as much as I like. Although having an airline pilot as a father allowed me to travel extensively as a child/young adult so I don't feel as though I'm missing anything for a few years. Hey y'all! About me, I have been divorced for several years.. With that being said I am a huge fan of A& For fun I am very lucky in that I have big group of friends and we are always on the go. Everything from happy hour, going to dinner and drinks, live music, theater, festivals, sports, camping, tubing the river and anything else we can come up with! I do need my down time too. I am happy at home making dinner, watching movies and just hanging out. I love a rainy day at home relaxing and napping and just enjoying the peace and quiet. I am kind of a big country music fan. I know that country music is not for everyone, and it is not my only taste in music, but it is my top choice and pretty much always on in my car. As far as career goes, I started a job as a meeting/event planner about ***years ago and I enjoy it. For exercise I love running and Yoga. I am happy that cool weather is around the corner again so I can run outdoors at Memorial Park! A good first date to me just needs to be simple and cover the basics. Let's meet somewhere for lunch, coffee, drinks, dinner, etc. and just talk and get to know one another and of course have fun!
